“Great local butcher with a variety of meat options. The steak tips were delicious on the grill and full of flavor. For $18 a pound, it can get pricy quickly, but are worth buying to impress your guest for a special occasion.”

“We found the Vitoria in Everett* so amazing we made the trek through the city every few months to stock up. I was SO happy to see one in Quincy (a 15 minute drive instead of the 30-90 minutes to get up there from where we are). The meat selection was top notch, great prices, friendly/helpful staff (we don't speak Portuguese), nice selection of produce, grocery items and spices, including what appeared to be prepared sauces (I'm a huge fan of chimichurri). The chicken wrapped in bacon is THE BEST, picanha is a fabulous cut for large gatherings, they also have a great variety of delicious sausages.*I actually don't know if the stores in Quincy and Everett are related, but they have the same name and the sign logo looks the same.”

“Sulmona Meat Market is in business and going strong. Myself and Bobby Pugliese would drive from Vermont to purchase whole hind quarters for our veal dishes at the Jamiaca ouse back in the mid 1970's and of course Dominic's famous homemade sausage. This is a testiment of how a quality meat shop stays open for decades after decades. Businesses come and go, but true quality of meats and service continues to this day. Congratulations on such an achievement!!!! Oakie”

“I was recommended by a neighbor to come here for raw marrow bones for my dog, and was blown away the first time I went in. Beautiful grocery items as well as knowledgeable and super friendly staff. They even asked my dog’s size to make sure the bones were cut to a safe size. Its become a weekly staple for me and the cuts of meat are leaps and bounds better quality than even Whole Foods.”

“looking for smoked sausage my mother bought from this store in 1990, they were the very best sausage. The family bought them by the boxes they are good for sandwiches, breakfast and all other dishes made from cabbage and sausage collard greens you name it.”

“I was looking for a fairly hard cut to get and of course, Savenor's could provide. It was a 3 lb lamb shoulder. Even my local butcher couldn't get it for me this time. I was thrilled to get it. I was getting a delivery from Savenor's (they deliver to Boston neighborhoods. Maybe other towns, but I don't know) and it came on time and the order was accurate. I wanted to get my order over $99 so I could have a delivery discount, so I added some meats I would usually buy anyways and I threw in a couple different types of sausages they make. The reason I feel motivated to write this review is because of the Chorizo they delivered. OMG!!! I think it may very well be the most delicious sausage I've ever had. Not kidding. So good! Can't wait to taste the lamb after we smoke it, shred it, put it on pita with feta, tzaziki I'll make, lettuce and some juicy tomatoes. I'm pretty sure the lamb will also be amazing. Get yourself to Savenor's if you're looking for interesting cuts of meat that the supermarkets don't have and for their amazing sausage.”

“Best quality and amazing prices! Yesterday I went and found the same organic tomato sauce that Whole Foods sells for a few dollars less expensive. The meat is also fantastic and they will cut it to your preference in the back.”

“First off, I have to say the products here are beyond my price point. I can't argue with service and quality - these are two things not in short supply, here. But this is not someplace a struggling young family can afford to visit. If you are looking for pre-seasoned or marinated meats, it is an excellent choice. There are many other items that are worth the money you pay.Just be prepared for sticker shock. I was not.”

“I go there all the time for their cooked chicken cutlets tried their pork chops OMG my husband said he never had a pork chop as tasty and moist as the Meat Market. Went back for more!”

“Best Brazilian supermarket and Meat Market in Boston! You can buy the famous Brazilian Steak here! (Just ask for Picanha). Don’t forget to get a bag of coarse salt because this is the only thing you will need to season the steaks! If you Tip the guy you can ask the guy to slice it for you! (You‘ll ruined the steak if you cut it wrong)Get some Pao de queijo too ?Say Hi to the guy he is the most friendly”

“The staff is always friendly and the meat is good quality. The prices aren't bad as well. They cut up the meat to your liking. I have been going to them for the last 6 years. They are conveniently located. There is no parking lot but you can find some street parking around.”

“Just found Quality Meat. The best steak we've had at a very reasonable price. The owners are very friendly running a tiny shop on their own and delivering great quality. Will buy all our chicken and other meat only from this tiny, friendly shop.”

“The Butcherie has a great, curated selection of kosher food & wine that belies the store's size. They maintain an extensive range of prepared foods that rotates constantly. Likewise, the cheese & raw meat selection is exceptional. My only real talk qualm is the wine prices. I know that kosher wines have gone up 25% in the past two years but a case discount like most liquor stores would be really helpful.”

“This place has the best merguez in town and has recently become my go-to halal butcher alongside Tunisian dates, olives, and many more items. Great service as well, wish them nothing but the best.”

“Decent selection of meats and exotic spices. Bought quite a few things from this store and my first experience was really good. I'll update the review based on future visits but this looks like another shop I'll be adding for monthly or bi-weekly visits.”

“Hope reviews for this bakery can stop here, since Crown Royal Cafe has already been closed for many years. Crown Royal Cafe has been great. I visited it whenever I was in Quincy. Now the bakery has been sold and renamed as Seyu Mack Tenn Bakery. Let's comment over there instead of here.”

“Solid butcher. Has an array of fresh meat options (whole chicken, wings, legs, sausages, and steaks) as well as some cold items, fresh vegetables, and pantry staples. The place is immaculately clean. Prices are very reasonable. Bilingual signage and staff. Skip Shaw's and get your meat from the local butcher.”
