“This was my first time ever buying tires, and I visited four different shops—including two Sullivan Tire locations—to compare options. The difference in customer service was night and day.
At every place, I mentioned it was my first time buying tires, and some shops were aloof or not very helpful. But both Sullivan Tire locations—in Melrose and on Route 1 in Saugus—were absolutely incredible.
Geno in Saugus was super friendly, patient, and made me feel totally at ease. And Peter in Melrose was just as wonderful. I ended up choosing the Melrose location since it’s close to home and made drop-off easy during the workday, but honestly, both locations were outstanding.
I also explored a few other well-known tire retailers and even looked into getting them directly through my dealership, and nothing came close to the level of customer service I received at Sullivan. On top of that, their pricing was the best out of everywhere I checked. There was really no question who to go with.
The whole process was also incredibly smooth and quick. It took less than a week from ordering the tires to scheduling the appointment and having everything installed. They called me as soon as the car was ready, and when I mentioned I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until later in the day, they were completely accommodating. It made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish.
I highly, highly recommend Sullivan Tire, and I’ll definitely be returning the next time I need tires. Exceptional service, fair prices, and genuinely kind people—can’t ask for more than that!”

“I want to preface this with the fact that I’ve been going here for a long time. I had a bit of a break when I went to Seattle and came back but these guys are beyond amazing and their quality has never changed over ten years I’ve been going. I would never in my life go anywhere else with my Honda. I had to get my tires fixed and Rick easily went above and beyond to find me tires that were beyond reasonable as well as sturdy and solid tires for winter. Recently I also thought I had to get my timing belt done. When doing the work they found that the belt had been replaced more recently than I thought and they told me I didn’t need to replace it, saving me a lot (if you know anything about a timing belt they aren’t cheap.) they didn’t even charge me for time or labor. They’ve been nothing but kind, reliable, fair, GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, and you absolutely are getting a great price for phenomenal work. I recommend them to everyone.
As an aside, they do collect out-of-state license plates (I was happy to give them one of my Seattle ones!) and I also brought in my deceased grandfathers POW plate from Colorado. They were so respectful and kind when they saw it was a POW plate and promised to hang it up. This shop isn’t just a good shop, but it’s got good people. Amazing people. Thanks guys!!!
Edit: I wanna update that six years later and I’ve moved to New Hampshire and I still won’t go anywhere else. I drove 45 minutes this morning to use them because I trust them more than any other place I’ve been.”
