“I cannot recommend this place enough. The owner and the staff are so friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable about all things triathlon. They really have a great variety of bikes, gear, clothes, and accessories to choose from and if they don’t have the exact item you need they provide great advice on how to find it. The bike fitting process was smooth and extremely helpful. We learned so much about the sport and learned helpful tips and tricks along the way. They all go out of their way to support newcomers to the sport and it is a great idea to make this your first stop on the road to becoming a triathlete, or just the first of many stops along the way. This is definitely a team you want in your corner!”

Upper Suite, 160 Riverview Ave, Waltham“Stopped by the paddle shop to get my own life jacket as I've picked up kayaking this summer. One of the staff members spent ~1 hours helping my partner and myself pick the best life jacket for us. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I cannot give them higher praise! We'll definitely be back ?”
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dan a few times. He managed to repair her stick twice with a turnaround immediately and when it was time for a new stick he worked with us to find the perfect stick. Very knowledgeable about anything lacrosse and very personable to chat with”
“First time buying snowboard and gear. Conrad made this experience absolutely amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, patient, helpful… and all around great to work with. Highly recommend checking this shop out if you ever want a more personable experience.”

85 Pier 4 Blvd., Boston“Haris was so helpful at the seaport store! He gave me tons of options to try on for new pants. He was very knowledgeable about the materials and what I should expect!”
“The staff at EI put together pop-up 3 hour clinics immediately when the Newton Public Schools strike became official. The clinics were fun, affordable and an invaluable way to keep my kids active while I got some work done each day. The staff is always engaged with the kids whether it's a group class or ono-on-one training sessions.”
“Was in town for a show in downtown Boston, and my boys and I had some extra time the day after, so we wanted to hit some local card shops. Not only is his selection better than the surrounding area, but the owner was one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met. The store is very relaxed and everyone one of us left with something special to bring back home. Please give this store some love. I wish I could be a regular, but I will be back.”
“Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”

401 Main St, Melrose“I had a great experience getting running shoes here! Sophia helped me choose a pair of shoes after I did the technological evaluation scan thing, where you step on the platform and it evaluates your shoe size, pronation level, and where you put pressure on your feet. She was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for, offering options, and explaining the benefits of different brands and styles. I ended up with a pair of Asics and also running socks. If I end up needing a shoe insole, I'll come back here. I would highly recommend this Marathon Sports ?”

671 Boylston St, Boston“Excellent service, with every customer in the (crowded) store assigned their own sales rep. Took the time to talk me through my choice and I was very happy with the experience.”
“Phenomenal store with world class staff and equipment. Rich helped me and my son with new goalie equipment and he was terrific. Super knowledgeable and patient. Best hockey store around!!”
“We love this place! The team members who work there are great; they always give good advice and give us several options to choose from. They are patient and attentive to their customers. You can choose new or used equipment and sports gear/ items. We also use the “trade in” option when you bring your kids used items (should be clean and in good condition) and they give you a store credit which you can apply towards the same day purchase (same day transaction only). We LOVE this store! This is the place to go for us for baseball equipment, soccer and baseball cleats, ski equipment every winter season (as kids grow fast!). Your loyal customer:-)”
“Steve killed it today. I showed up at 11am on a Tuesday and the store was busy for a midweek day. Nonetheless Steve picked the ideal set of options for me in minutes and the first one was the winner. Walked out 30 minutes later with the most comfy shoes I’ve ever run in. Wallet was a bit lighter though :)”
“This was my 1st time with Oriental Gateway & it will NOT be my last. I ordered my 1st Black Belt "Pr Force" uniform with the Tang Soo Do midnight blue trim. The lady helped me verify I was ordering the correct size--she was right!--. She did warn me that I would have to wait because it had been very busy. It was not only worth the wait but they made sure I received my uniform before the tournament where I needed to wear it. Thank you, Oriental Gateway! You're great! I'll be back again!!!”

39 Brattle St, Cambridge“I typically wouldn't leave reviews for stores, but my experience at the Patagonia store in Harvard Square, Cambridge, was exceptional! I brought in my ripped jacket for repair, knowing that Patagonia offers free repairs, but the salesman truly went above and beyond to help me out. His assistance and expertise made the process seamless and hassle-free. It's evident that customer satisfaction is a top priority at this store. I highly recommend Patagonia to anyone in need of outdoor gear, not just for their high-quality products but also for their outstanding customer service.”

141 Needham St, Newton“I needed to return item the woman that was there early afternoon was outstanding. She made the return easy and simple. She had a nice personality as well. The merchandise was wonderful throughout the store. Keep up the great work. See you down the road Highly recommend”
“I have to say, it has been nothing short of amazing customer service and partnership between my organization and College Hype. Margaret is wonderful, Joe Foley and many many more who I can't name in this review are just the best!! highly recommended them for all things print, etc!!!”
“Great selection of gear plus friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are high but appropriate for the top-of-the line equipment they sell. Tip: go at the end of a season for sale prices.Mitch was awesome! He had expert knowledge of the equipment and was friendly and easy to work with. He also had admirable patience with my intermediate skier girlfriend who had a million questions about buying equipment for the first time. Give this guy a raise!”
“Joined the loyalty program and got a further discount, it was already cheap and reasonably priced so was thrilling to get it discounted further, fully stocked and they have all the sizes, was there in the summer so naturally not a busy place”
11AM - 6PM
346 Newbury St, Boston“Amazing company. The best guarantee in the market, and I’ve looked at many other competitors guarantees. I know everything at Patagonia is pricey, but when you evaluate the amount that you’re paying versus the longevity of the product, as well as the overall vision and mission of the company, I think that it’s overall worth it.The store itself is really nicely laid out and there’s little bit of history on the space from before Patagonia moved in in 1988.”
9AM - 7PM
15 Merrimac St, Woburn“My husband and I were looking for new rackets after using our same old rackets for years. We were lucky to find Nett Strings when we were looking for tennis shops nearby. Don is extremely knowledgeable and guided us to pick out rackets that were best suited for what we were looking for. We got to test out the rackets he suggested for a few days before we made a decision which was great to get a feel for what we wanted. Highly recommend to anyone looking for tennis gear and expertise!”
“Unbeatable quality and supreme attention to detail. Owner Mark Doherty and the entire staff know everything there is to know about supplying the hockey player in your life, boy or girl, kid or adult. Go to the best there is at Dynamik Sports. You won't regret it!”
“Love this place. For someone like myself who always has questions, it's great to be able to ask someone knowledgable about the products. Also their prices are almost always less expensive than Amazon. Something you very rarely hear anymore these days.”
11AM - 6PM
1638 Beacon St, Brookline“It was my first time at Marathon sports today, and I was completely blown away by their service. John really took care of me and was very knowledgeable. I understand now why I was recommended this place. No other businesses compare.”
“In a time when customer service has never been worse, I had a more than pleasant experience in working with this company - on something that I actually really messed up when ordering. I heard directly from the owner, who took my issue very seriously and addressed it himself - immediately. He genuinely cared that this was a gift for my 11-year-old son, and reassured me that he would do whatever he could to help me make it up to him. It’s clear that I Love Boston Sports truly values their customers. As long as they’re around and selling their unique and cool stuff, I will be supporting this store as much as possible.”
“Mom loves this brand, so when we were in town visiting, we made it a point to stop by. This is a nice, cute little store with cool running gear inside. It's definitely a spot to visit if you're looking to pick up some fashionable gear.”
“Jonathan at The Sharper Edge was extremely helpful. I am an occasional ice skater, and he asked about my ability in order to help me select a good, affordable pair of skates that met my needs. You need to call for an appointment, rather than just show up, but that’s what enables him to give personal service that helps skaters at every level skate safely and at their best.”
“Such great advice about what shoes would work for me and my running goals. Staff were so patient and helped me try on 6+ pairs until I found the one that was right for me. Cheerful, inclusive, and informative. I will never buy running shoes anywhere else!”
“This store is excellent! Sponge answered every question I had and was the most kind sales person I could ask for. I walked away with a brand new board and bindings. I could not be happier!! Thank you once again Sponge!!”
“Store has a great selection and the staff has been nothing but excellent. I live really close so I happen to go in there a lot which is a good but also a bad thing. I've had clubs regripped, purchased new clubs direct and through them to be shipped. The store manager Derek is great and always available to help and go above and beyond to find what you're looking for and even search the back if it's not on the floor. I can't recommend them enough. Also they'll price match any competitor or direct fulfilled by Amazon items.”
