“While visiting in the Groton area, my almost 16 year young pup developed a UTI (urinary tract infection). It's not generally an emergency condition, but in a senior dog, it could progress quickly. I'd called several veterinary offices in the area, but none could see us for a few days because we weren't pre-registered clients.When I called Veterinary Health Care of Groton, they were willing to fit us in that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I was concerned that my pup would be uncomfortable on the hard floor & suddenly, a fleece blanket appeared for her! Dr. Thomas & her staff handled my pup gently & were very attentive to me & respectful of my concerns. I believe we received wonderful service for the cost of the visit,especially for a last-minute appointment.I had explained that we were just visiting in the area, but we were treated like long-term, valued clients. If you need veterinary care in Groton, I'd definitely consider this office!”

“Last night I had to bring my dog to AMC in Nashua . I was extremely impressed by this place ! The facility is very clean and well kept . I was greeted by a woman at the front deck that was very nice and helpful. She even gave me a cup of tea out of her own stuff to make me feel more comfortable. I was brought into a room where I meet the vet tech along with the doctor. They were kind, understanding.and easy to talk to . The doctor( Dr Mackenzie ) took a lot of time explaining things to me with a lot of compassion. I would ? percent recommend this place! Thank you for taking such good care of Bailey.”

“I originally went to this vet as they work with the Nashua Humane Society to provide follow up adoption visits at a minimal cost. They were very accomidating when scheduling that visit. I have been going to them for over 3 years now and I am very happy with the services. There are separate entrances for dogs and another for cats and small pets. I had been able to get a same day appointment when my pet was ill. I have a very feisty feline who they have been so patient with and able to provide support for her when needed.”

“I had to take my little dog in for a checkup because she was coughing and hacking and coughing for almost 3 weeks with no let up .. I was full of fear thinking the worst thinking that she may have cancer. she's also a 15-year-old terrier mix. They explained everything to me step by step what they were going to do to her and made sure that I understood everything that they were doing and what they were talking about.After I spoke to the doctors my anxiety lessoned tremendously. I guess what I'm trying to say is they really care because they know that your pet is your life ..your family.. your best friend.. and it's hard to find veterinarians that have so much compassion and kindness for what you are going through with your pet. I've been to many in my years growing up and may I say I've never found one like this. I tell everybody I know about this place and to try them out for yourself and see the results you will not be disappointed.”

He made sure all questions were answered, all options were covered and even waited for our family to gather and say our good byes. “I cannot share enough positive things about Nashua Pet Care Clinic. I was skeptical upon my first visit, as NPCC is situated in a strip mall, next to a Subway and a nail salon. But I was quick to judge a book by its cover. Everyone in the office knows my dog. They ask about him with genuine interest. His acute and chronic needs are treated with urgency and thoughtfulness. His behavioral needs (he's reactive) are graciously accommodated. At most visits, the veterinarian and vet tech sit on the floor because he's more comfortable there than on the table. I've interacted with most, if not all, of the staff at NPCC and they're all equally warm, genuine, animal-loving people. And wonderfully, they don't talk about payment (unless we're discussing the cost-related tradeoffs of different treatment options) until it's time to check out. In fact, the last two visits have ended with my dog getting a surprise toy, just because.For more context:I've taken my dog to numerous veterinarians in the area, and all seemed to care about payment more than anything (they should care about payment as they're for-profit businesses, but I shouldn't feel this so overtly as a customer). I always felt like my dog was a commodity at these other vets. “I have been to many different veterinary practices. This is by far the best. The support staff is extraordinary. Everyone is polite and helpful. They are very flexible with scheduling. Dr. Shore and Dr. Hart are very caring and excellent doctors. The care is appropriate, thorough, and expert .They always seem to put the animal above the profit. I really appreciate the care they have given my dog.”

“I had to bring my cat Murray in for a second visit today 1/21/24 because he got too spicy for his annual check up. I changed out his carrier for a carrier swaddle bag to keep him calmer. The office staff were amazing, treating my boy with care and consideration for his anticipated attitude. I was more stressed than the cat. I called before bringing him in, reception made sure he could go straight back. I hovered at the desk listening for Murray to act up and again reception never once made me feel like I was out of line or in the way. (A lovely girl with pink hair, I'm sorry I didn't ask her name) Murray was grumbly but (prayers answered) he made it thru his appointment and we got him back home to his happy place. Thank you to all who worked with my boy today to keep him healthy.”

“I took my 2 year old bully to get his ears checked for an ear infection and some allergies... EVERYONE in the team was sooo awesome and caring of my love bug. My bully seems scary at first but they soon found out how sweet he really is he is feeling so much better already and he was just seeing on 1/5/24. I recommend this place 10/10. “I called Dr Walsh on a Sunday evening during a snow storm . The hospital was closed but , he answered the phone and agreed to meet me at the hospital .My poodle was experiencing urinary tract infection symptoms .(bloody urine )He was able to treat my dog and give me the appropriate medications needed . My dog was looking and feeling better the next morning.I really appreciated his kindness and arriving quickly to help . I would have waited hours any other place . Thank you ?”

“I’ve been coming to this practice for about 3 years now, first with my cat then with my English bulldog. We’ve seen both Dr. Mockler and Dr. Roe and both were absolutely fantastic. My bulldog is a frequent flyer and they always take amazing care of her! They answered all my questions and were always super responsive to any of my concerns regarding my pets health. The front desk staff is super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant as well. We just moved out of the area and are so sad to leave this practice but I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!!”

“I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.My original review is below:I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!”

“Everyone at Banfield Merrimack is patient and knowledgeable. Everyone. The doctor took 10 minutes to discuss puppy food and first-time grooming tips with me. The administrative staff went above and beyond to call others for paperwork. I will be forever grateful for their graceful and kind guidance in the passing of my elderly dog recently. I can't imagine a better vet experience. This place is the real thing, professional, kind, thorough, and local.”
