Crate Escape
368 Huron Ave, CambridgeWe have nothing but positive things to say about Crate Escape Too! Our puppy loves few things more than rolling up to Crate Escape for daycare. The staff is professional and friendly, and they take special care and attention to ensure your dog is comfortable and happy while there. They very much care about their customers - both the dogs and their owners. We would recommend again and again.

Alive & Kicking Lobsters
269 Putnam Ave, CambridgeAwesome food. You get plenty for your money and it tastes amazing. The lobster sandwich was excellent - not too much bread and plenty of lobster. Steamers were a good size and tasted great.

Black Sheep Bagel Cafe
56 John F. Kennedy St, Cambridgei got the jalapeño cream cheese and everything bagel. it was pretty standard, but in a good way. the bread was toasty and there wasn’t too much cream cheese. there was a slight wait at 11am and all the seats were taken.

La Saison Bakery
407 Concord Ave, CambridgeLa Saison is a shining star in the Fresh Pond/Huron Village neighborhood. The pastries are exceptional, the Egg Bun is something to write home about, and the sandwiches at lunch might be the best thing on the menu (try anything on the focaccia). But the best part is the staff who feel like extended family after a few visits.

Lizzy's Ice Cream
29 Church St, CambridgeStopped in with 3 others after dinner in Cambridge; the ice cream is awesome. And the mini cones were a hit for those that were on the fence about getting desert. They had no regrets it was so awesome.

The Hourly Oyster House
15 Dunster St, CambridgeFood was very good. Our waitress was attentive, but not overly so. Four of us were crowded onto a high top and we may have been more comfortable in a booth, but at least the high top was in a corner out of the way so we weren't getting jostled about. I would go back on a more casual occasion. I still can't figure out if this is more of a pub/bar or a casual restaurant.

Sofra Bakery & Cafe
1 Belmont St, CambridgeThis is a nice cozy Mediterranean cafe with a great selection of food, coffee and pastries. The baklava, chocolate cookie, latte and cheese borekas served with labneh were phenomenal. The spinach falafel and the wrap, however, were too dense for our taste. The sauces were fresh. Service is good.

Area Four
500 Technology Square, CambridgeIn contention for one of the best pizza spots in Boston. Unique array of appetizers that are also solid. Brussel sprouts salad with hazelnuts and Parmesan was an interesting ménage that worked. Sourdough starter for the pizza and knots. The margarita pizza was crisp, thin with a pleasing aesthetic and improved taste with some fresh basil.

Broken Tail Rescue Cat Adoption Center
160 Alewife Brook Pkwy, CambridgeWe got our two kittens from here in December, and they were so quick and easy to apply to. They checked our references, and then as soon as we were approved, we could come in and see any cat. We saw two kittens on the Google doc they provided, and went into the Cambridge location. Loved them so much, placed a hold the same day! They have such great turnover, and are very helpful and extremely nice. Another local rescue said from the time you choose a cat, it can be up to 6 weeks for approval (they checked references after you choose a cat). Cannot recommend this rescue enough. The kittens are also the best cats in the world! Super friendly!
