“Really enjoyed the small group personal training classes, a very friendly environment that is great for both beginners and advanced levels. Staff is great and will definitely go back!”

1305 Cambridge St, Cambridge“I can't recommend Fitlab Pilates enough!
I used to take pilates classes frequently and enjoyed it so much, but I ended up moving and eventually found myself unable to find a studio that I clicked well with....until I found Fitlab.
The environment, community and staff are very warm and welcoming upon entrance. The studio is beautiful, clean and spacious.
I truly enjoy the pace/precision of the reformer classes and the individuality of each instructor. You can tell each class is planned and operated as such but allows for modifications or changes as necessary. Details like that assure me that every instructor is knowledgeable and an expert in their field.
Coming here each week has felt so amazing and I am so happy to be back on the reformer.”

270 Third St, Cambridge“I can't say enough good things about Orangetheory Fitness® Cambridge at Kendal Square in Cambridge, its excellent trainers, and its dedicated director, Emma. I joined Orangetheory Fitness® in the early stages of recovering from a stress fracture and looking for a gym to help me cross-train for the upcoming Boston Marathon.
Since then, there has never been a dull moment in Orangetheory Fitness® class, where orange is not just a color but a heart rate indicator. The coaches are trained to help members reach a targeted number of spat points by safely pushing them to the orange heart rate zone. Thank you, coaches Yasmin, Alvaro, and Kelsey, for your professionalism, individualized attention, enthusiastic feedback, and guidance, which made my most challenging workout fly by.
I want to express my gratitude towards Tawnie for being an essential lead at the front desk and supporting me with patience and understanding throughout my journey of achieving my ambitious goal of training for the 128th Boston Marathon in half the time.
I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed my 128th Boston Marathon, all thanks to the amazing team at Orangetheory Fitness® Cambridge! I highly recommend Orangetheory Fitness® Cambridge at Kendal Square to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals. With their exceptional training, you are guaranteed to succeed in your fitness journey. I would rate them five (5) out of five (5) stars!”
“Best environment I’ve seen from a gym! Very large and great assortment of equipment including, many benches, lots of free weights, lots of cables, hack squat, smith machine, and Olympic lifting room. Great people and staff who listen to the gym-goers. Can be crowded at some times but definitely tolerable. Love it here!”
“5 stars for the NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE training i got over two sundays. The basement serves as a .22 range for the MIT pistol & rifle club. As far as i know these classes have neen suspended or are simply not offered anymore because of liability”

14 Hampshire St B3002, Cambridge“I cannot speak highly enough about Handle Bar in Cambridge! The staff/instructors could not be more awesome and empowering- whether it's Maddy's early Saturday morning classes, or a nice post-work weeknight class, I leave feeling SO good. They encourage you to push yourself during the class but also modify at any time. Their studio is also very clean and accommodating- multiple showers and restrooms, towels, dry shampoo, face wash, etc. It's an actual joy to come here and my favorite part of my week!”

Dr Paul Dudley White Bike Path, Cambridge“This is where real men are made. Out in the hot sun doing body weight exercises and coming home with mosquito bites. The equipment is good and it has instructional signs”

“Great gym, solid equipment. Can get pretty busy during peak hours but you’ll still be able to get a workout in.The website will tell you this gym has a sauna which is partially true — only the Vim Pilates location (included in the membership) down the street does.Do be aware that to exit VIM you may need to use the :wq command in your terminal.”
“Very happy with this gym. Centrally located near lots of employers. I was in town for work, didn't want to just stop my training, and BodyScapes fit the bill, providing week and month passes = perfect. All the equipment you need, dumbbells up to 80 lbs, locker rooms, showers, and classes and other things I didn't need.”

215 First St, Cambridge“I completed my on-ramp this week with coach Mario. I must say he is the absolute best. If my experience with him is what I have to look forward to at this box, I cannot wait! After having two kids back to back and developing diastasis recti, resulting in a weak core; I absolutely feared working out and trying CrossFit again. I pushed myself to tried a box in Charlestown in 2021 and my fear was affirmed. I was intimidated immediately and did not return. Almost 2 years later I found this box and emailed Jared. Jared was very professional and prompt via email. He explained their process and set up my on ramp with coach Mario. It has been the absolute best decision I’ve made in starting my journey back to a healthy me. In my first session Mario sensed my nervousness and addressed it in the kindest manner. I shared my fear and worries. He explained the importance of safety and meeting everyone where they are along with what the on ramp session are for. He is knowledgeable and does a great job explaining and demonstrating all the fundamental crossfit movements. He quickly modified everything while challenging and encouraging me. He made even the hardest workouts enjoyable and fun! On my last session coach Kiera joined us while shadowing him. She was very helpful to me and well informed. I’m so grateful Coach Mario was my reintroduction to CrossFit. Everyone I’ve come across so far has been very chill. This box is such a great vibe! I am thrilled about this journey for myself and trust that becoming a part of this amazing community will certainly help me achieve all my fitness goals! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this box to everyone and more importantly to anyone who doesn’t know what to do in a regular gym, like myself.”
“Excellent facilities and has 3-4 floors: has lots of great equipment for leg day as well as arm day.The leg machine area has like 12 of each kind of machine you can imagine. The dumbbell area has a huge variety of dumbbells including 120lb pounds! It can get a bit crowded, but the best time to come 1-1.5 hours before closing time instead of at peak hours during the mid-day.”

This was it; this raised the bar. Worth every penny, IF you can swing the cost -- do check if your employer is on their corporate partnerships discounts list. ;)My only wish was that there was a membership option for JUST classes, where I'd check in and out for ONLY class time, no use of digital resources, multiple locations, etc. Ideally monthly or quarterly/3-month commitments (as certain sports/activities are for only certain seasons).”
“You can’t beat the $22 membership. I could be in Rhode Island and I’ll find a planet fitness… I go for 1 hr workouts and I’ll go for 20 mins. I’ll hit the massage beds the tan they don’t have saunas or pools or tennis none of that fluffy stuff but hey it’s not $150 a month either”
“Best F45 I've ever been to! Luca and her team of instructors are next level. They bring genuine energy and enthusiasm and leave you wanting to come back time and time again! Their instruction and knowledge is second to none. They've fostered a great community and really make everyone feel welcomed. Best workout studio in Cambridge!!!!”
