“I cannot recommend this place enough. The owner and the staff are so friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable about all things triathlon. They really have a great variety of bikes, gear, clothes, and accessories to choose from and if they don’t have the exact item you need they provide great advice on how to find it. The bike fitting process was smooth and extremely helpful. We learned so much about the sport and learned helpful tips and tricks along the way. They all go out of their way to support newcomers to the sport and it is a great idea to make this your first stop on the road to becoming a triathlete, or just the first of many stops along the way. This is definitely a team you want in your corner!”
“Stopped by the paddle shop to get my own life jacket as I've picked up kayaking this summer. One of the staff members spent ~1 hours helping my partner and myself pick the best life jacket for us. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I cannot give them higher praise! We'll definitely be back ?”
“First time buying snowboard and gear. Conrad made this experience absolutely amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, patient, helpful… and all around great to work with. Highly recommend checking this shop out if you ever want a more personable experience.”
“Haris was so helpful at the seaport store! He gave me tons of options to try on for new pants. He was very knowledgeable about the materials and what I should expect!”
“The staff at EI put together pop-up 3 hour clinics immediately when the Newton Public Schools strike became official. The clinics were fun, affordable and an invaluable way to keep my kids active while I got some work done each day. The staff is always engaged with the kids whether it's a group class or ono-on-one training sessions.”
“Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”
“I had a great experience getting running shoes here! Sophia helped me choose a pair of shoes after I did the technological evaluation scan thing, where you step on the platform and it evaluates your shoe size, pronation level, and where you put pressure on your feet. She was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for, offering options, and explaining the benefits of different brands and styles. I ended up with a pair of Asics and also running socks. If I end up needing a shoe insole, I'll come back here. I would highly recommend this Marathon Sports ?”
“Excellent service, with every customer in the (crowded) store assigned their own sales rep. Took the time to talk me through my choice and I was very happy with the experience.”
“Was picking up food next door and saw they were open. Went in and got a sand wedge for some used tennis balls. Great service and love that the bouncy ball pinball machine is still there.”
“Steve killed it today. I showed up at 11am on a Tuesday and the store was busy for a midweek day. Nonetheless Steve picked the ideal set of options for me in minutes and the first one was the winner. Walked out 30 minutes later with the most comfy shoes I’ve ever run in. Wallet was a bit lighter though :)”
“Phenomenal store with world class staff and equipment. Rich helped me and my son with new goalie equipment and he was terrific. Super knowledgeable and patient. Best hockey store around!!”

39 Brattle St, Cambridge“I typically wouldn't leave reviews for stores, but my experience at the Patagonia store in Harvard Square, Cambridge, was exceptional! I brought in my ripped jacket for repair, knowing that Patagonia offers free repairs, but the salesman truly went above and beyond to help me out. His assistance and expertise made the process seamless and hassle-free. It's evident that customer satisfaction is a top priority at this store. I highly recommend Patagonia to anyone in need of outdoor gear, not just for their high-quality products but also for their outstanding customer service.”
“I love this skate shop! Craig is such a professional. He really knows his craft. My daughter recent got a new pair of edea ice fly skates and a new pair of Gold seal John Wilson Revolution blades at another location and needed her blade mount adjusted. Craig got us right in and adjusted her mount perfectly, efficiently and accurately. Her left skate feels so much better now. Thank you so much Craig!! We will be returning to your shop again soon. I highly recommend this place and Craig!”
“the number listed for this store will not let a call go through and repeatedly states the line is busy. however, if you made an online purchase, you can reach staff on their website through their message portal -- they are very responsive. online orders are a separate department from their retail store. special thanks to Molly, Karen, and Catrina for helping with my past order.”

346 Newbury St, Boston“Amazing company. The best guarantee in the market, and I’ve looked at many other competitors guarantees. I know everything at Patagonia is pricey, but when you evaluate the amount that you’re paying versus the longevity of the product, as well as the overall vision and mission of the company, I think that it’s overall worth it.The store itself is really nicely laid out and there’s little bit of history on the space from before Patagonia moved in in 1988.”
“It was my first time at Marathon sports today, and I was completely blown away by their service. John really took care of me and was very knowledgeable. I understand now why I was recommended this place. No other businesses compare.”
“Tom and other associates were very helpful today. I had a club repaired and I was not able to get back to the Braintree store for a very long time. Tom was able to locate the iron. I had new grips put on and repair guys were very good. Thanks”

“Hilton's Tent City in Central Square, Cambridge, is a hidden gem that deserves all five stars! This great little store boasts a team of helpful and knowledgeable workers who go above and beyond to assist customers. One of the standout features of Hilton's is their frequent discounts, making their prices often more affordable than big-box retailers like REI or Patagonia. This makes it a go-to spot for budget-conscious shoppers without compromising on quality.Speaking of quality, the recommendations and product selection at Hilton's are unparalleled. I recently purchased a pair of shorts based on their recommendation, and I must say, I'm thrilled with my purchase. The shorts are not only stylish but also durable, ensuring they'll last me a long time.If you're in Central Square and in need of outdoor gear or apparel, Hilton's Tent City is the place to go. You'll receive top-notch service, great prices, and quality products that won't disappoint. Highly recommended!”
“Such great advice about what shoes would work for me and my running goals. Staff were so patient and helped me try on 6+ pairs until I found the one that was right for me. Cheerful, inclusive, and informative. I will never buy running shoes anywhere else!”
“In a time when customer service has never been worse, I had a more than pleasant experience in working with this company - on something that I actually really messed up when ordering. I heard directly from the owner, who took my issue very seriously and addressed it himself - immediately. He genuinely cared that this was a gift for my 11-year-old son, and reassured me that he would do whatever he could to help me make it up to him. It’s clear that I Love Boston Sports truly values their customers. As long as they’re around and selling their unique and cool stuff, I will be supporting this store as much as possible.”
“We have been using Tricon for a few years. I work with Matt Keough and I always have a wonderful experience with him. They are always extremely attentive to my requests. The customer service is excellent and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Tricon to anyone looking for high-quality, custom apparel.”

100 Legends Way, Boston“I have been to few NBA arenas in the country and TD garden is probably my favorite. First time there for the playoffs and Celtics didn't disappoint. The fan atmosphere was crazy and one of the best I have experienced. Highly recommend to people visiting Boston to give it a try. Let's go Celtics!!”
“There were tons of selections to choose from. The store was very organized. It was my second visit today after a long day at work.. I felt overwhelmed and tired at the beginning but everything was great at the store. The cashier was very helpful and quick.
Huge thanks to Colton. He was extremely patient with my questions. He tried to find the one that fits me the most while keeping the store organized and taking care of others.
I found a pair that I feel so great. Wearing them makes me want to exercise and hike more often! Thank you!”
