““Newer” to Beverly and needed some work done on my Mercedes, i searched for a reputable, honest shop and heard great reviews on Big Jim’s Autobody. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning, Jamie (owner) called me shortly after to notify me of what was going on with the car and asked for the go ahead to order part/ perform work on the car. The price he quoted me over the phone for everything was very reasonable and best of all, repair was complete before the end of the day and problems resolved! I would definitely bring my business back to Jamie and his shop at any time i may be in need of body work or mechanical work. “I just left this location. It was so easy to book an appt online. The guys took my car in right away. I sat in the lobby and waited and was offered coffee and snacks. I talked to one of the guys at the desk who was so friendly and fun to talk to.And my windshield was replaced within 45 minutes. It looks great! No issues whatsoever. “Above and beyond service with same day replacement!! Broke my windshield late at night just 2 days before I had to catch a flight and wouldn’t be back until a week later. I called early in the morning and made it clear that I was on a time crunch and would need it done by the next morning before 5am for my flight. I knew I was asking for almost the impossible as others had already told me they couldn’t do it in time. Rico and his team went above and beyond to help me out by ordering the windshield and saying they would try to come out and replace it IF the windshield got delivered later that day. It also helped that I had a pretty generic make and model car (Toyota Tacoma). They (2 people) came all the way to where I was located in Gloucester and was finished within 30 min! I am forever appreciative especially with the time constraints I had. Tipped them handsomely and had to insist they take it.Sidenote: Said they would call me when they finished and although I was a bit hesitant, I went inside my house. I had a bunch of stuff in the car but nothing seemed to be missing.Overall, seems like a humble and great crew so far. I will maybe update later on the quality and durability of the windshield, if it holds up, etc, after waiting the estimated waiting time to drive.”

“You know when you go someplace and the service, price and experience is so good, you kind of want to keep it to yourself? Well that was my first experience at Bennett St Tire this week. And I brought not one, but two cars to them.The first car we had in was my wife's Land Rover LR4 which needed to be aligned due to some front end parts being replaced. They said there would be a decent wait and then in less than an hour they were bringing her truck in. The tech stopped me to tell me the truck would not fit in the bay with our roof box on. I told him I could take it off quickly enough and rather than grumble like many other places would, Jeremy (their alignment tech) helped me take down the box. Then when the alignment was done, he put it back on without asking for my help. Amazing!The second truckwe had was due for new tires.We were driving on a failing set that was flat out dangerous. This truck is 16 years old and has aftermarket wheels so I wanted a very specific tire. D at the front desk gave me 3 great suggestions and in the end, I went with Falken Wildpeak AT Trails that I had wanted. I ordered the tires the next day over the phone with the owner Gary. He was super knowledgable and friendly. Great guy to talk tires with!I dropped our second truck for the tires the night before to avoid a scramble the next day. They called me at 10:20 to ask me a question and then were not done until 2:30. This was fine by me because I was not waiting there and would rather if be done right. In the end, they had trouble with my camber bolts which I will have my mechanic check out. The truck drives great though.As it turns out, our LR4 steering wheel is slightly off so we will back. That said, I had something done mechanically to the steering wheel with our mechanic so the issue could be that too.The price on the Falken Wildpeaks was more than good and fair and Susan at the front desk was also amazing throughout the process. Their location is not like a conventional 'chain' tire shop and that is part of what makes them great. Tucked away on Bennett St, finding this place feels a bit like finding the off the beaten path pizza joint. Highly recommend Bennett St Tires. Thank you Susan, Jeremy, Gary and team. “Quick, responsive and qualified.. what else do.you say about a service like this? My car is new, surprisingly the glass was in stock same day, technology glass, since my vehicle.os equipped with sensors and cameras for lane assist etc. Glass was installed in 50 minutes, car was returned in better condition considering clean glass and window stickers were all reapplied without a tear. Courteous professional and clean... even caught up on my Dr Phil in the waiting area.. Fyi this location is prime considering there is Floramos restaurant across the street, grab some tips, a beer and play some keno and time will FLY!”
