“My wife and I have both purchased nice, quality shoes here, but their real bread and butter is the kids selection. Rather than purchasing cheaper shoes at Walmart, Target or similar that break, get ruined or kid grows out of in a few weeks, we decided to start going to Michelson's when our son started running around outside at daycare all the time and 100% do NOT regret it. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about inventory and the one time our son's shoes have torn in the four years we've been going, they let him exchange for a new pair. Every other pair have last for multiple seasons, and he's outside a LOT. he's also excited to go (and I've noticed other kids are as well) to see their "pet alligator" - who lives in a wall cavity behind the cash register. They knocked it out of the park with that thing.”
“I love the shoes and the handbags but the staff at that store is terrible, poorly educated and they gave me a lot of attitude due to a mistake made by one of the young women who works there since they treated me very badly.”
“Steve killed it today. I showed up at 11am on a Tuesday and the store was busy for a midweek day. Nonetheless Steve picked the ideal set of options for me in minutes and the first one was the winner. Walked out 30 minutes later with the most comfy shoes I’ve ever run in. Wallet was a bit lighter though :)”

“I am from California, and was just on a trip to the Northeast for the first time. I wandered into Footstock after having lunch in Concord. I really did not need shoes for this trip, but I saw the most perfect pair of lightweight leather slides that I need for a different trip later this year. The saleswoman was so helpful in assisting me to try the shoes, and informed me how to ensure that slides will stay on the foot, giving me a little pad for each shoe. I was wondering how I would get them home in my already full suitcase. I was musing aloud about having to press the shoes together, and leave their box behind. She offered to have them shipped, at my cost. I was very happy to accept that offer, because these are expensive shoes, over $200, and they deserve to be treated properly. And then....I was directed upstairs to the sale area!! Wow!!! Terrific styles and prices! I will most definitely return to Footstock when I visit my friends in the area again. An absolute gem of a shoe store! Thank you for all of your care.”

“There were tons of selections to choose from. The store was very organized. It was my second visit today after a long day at work.. I felt overwhelmed and tired at the beginning but everything was great at the store. The cashier was very helpful and quick.

“This is more of a review for their sales person Grace. Went in needing new running shoes and thought the 1080s were my solution. Thanks to Grace she offered to do the 3D foot scan, knew exactly what shoe was perfect for my feet (860s) and even helped me get a wider pair which fit my feet like a glove. The entire free foam wall can be overwhelming but any shoe I asked her about, she had the answer to. Gave her advice as a runner and her experience with all the different models of shoes. In the end the 860s were the best for me.
For a flagship I wish they had more options and inventory but you can go to the outlet right down the road and they have a wide selection of clothing.”

If you let Ron know what you want or need, he'll find you a top-notch design and great price (always way more affordable than you'd expect). He also always meets the deadlines he promises, and he even delivers large orders to your doorstep. The best way to reach him is by email. He's very responsive and kind. I highly recommend this business. It's a hidden gem of Watertown.”

The also have really amazing team members who are incredibly helpful. One team member approached my little ones and asked if they wanted to color at the activity table and gave them stickers at the end of our shopping trip.”

“Love my new pair of short boots. They are beautiful, made from the highest quality materials, and will last my lifetime. My posture has never been better, my lower back pain gone, and my sleep much deeper and more restful. “As a 75-year-old guy, I certainly expected to be ignored when I went to this store to buy shoes for skateboarding. Instead, I received outstanding service from a young man named Princeton, who is so smart and professional.I was seeking flexible shoes; unlike my Nike running shoes, which flex only from front to back (not sideways) I wanted shoes that flex in all directions because when running shoes can't flex sideways they force the knee and ankle in directions they don't like by transferring the force to something other than the foot.I'm so happy with my new shoes I'm going back to buy a couple more pairs.The store was also impressive....very clean and meticulously organized.I can't wait to wear them to my next visit with my M.D.”
