“Our dryer quit drying, 1/10/24. No heat. It’s a 30 yr old Whirlpool electric, that’s been repaired already. I looked online, but there are so many choices.That’s when we called Dave, at Abington Appliance. It was the best decision.We already knew we could trust Dave, after buying our refrigerator from him, in 2016. He only sells reliable appliances. He’s honest, and takes the time to explain and answer questions.I’m still impressed his price and service, for $795.xx, covered:1. the new Maytag dryer (on sale!)2. the replacement cord,3. delivery,4. installation, and5. haul- away of our old one with no added costs.Thanks to Dave, we had a working dryer, by 5:00 p.m. 1/11/24.• I’m a customer for life. No more big box stores. ?”

“I just had the most delightful experience. I went to Ann's to order a specific long arm quilter. Everyone in the shop was helpful and beyond pleasant. I'd never been there before but it felt like visiting old friends. The shop is well stocked with a wider variety of machines than I have seen anywhere else. In spite of all the machines, the shop didn't feel cramped and was tidy and orderly making it easy to see and access everything. They offered a really nice selection of fabrics and threads from what I could see though I didn't have the time to really explore. I can't recommend them enough.”

“2/08/24 purchased a new Maytag top loader washer and gas dryer from NE Appliance. The salesman (Murray) was patient and very knowledgeable about all the various brands and options available with each set and models in the showroom. I was unsure of what brand to purchase other than I knew I wanted to go back to a top loader. AJ (shipping) arranged seamless delivery. John and Jimbo completed the delivery with amazing customer service and care of our home. The removal of old was quite challenging and they handled it very well and we are beyond thankful for the entire process. I whole heartedly recommend NE Appliance, Braintree”

“I can’t remember if I’ve already reviewed this company, but I don’t think I have recently. I first used Harrison Appliance over 15 years ago, when they were willing to deliver a washer and dryer up a very treacherous and narrow staircase when others weren’t. I’ve purchased three appliances from them in the past few years, and they have been exceptional. When you talk to Peter, he knows all the makes and models, and he will steer you away from a product if he doesn’t feel good about it. He knows where everything is manufactured and what specific issues some brand and models tend to have. He won’t try to upsell you. His delivery team always shows up on time, and they have been very professional. We recently had a dishwasher delivered and the appliance tech noticed a small dent in the door. They let us use it as is while we waited for a replacement door. I appreciate that they’re willing to work with your schedule and show up on time. Also, if you’re having any trouble with an appliance you bought from them, Peter will send someone over. You won’t get that from a big box store.”

“My husband and I were shopping for tile adhesives, looking for a small container. The flooring aisle had a large selection of 50 lb bags of mix as well as 1-5 gallon size tubs of prepared spread, all of which were too large for our small repair. We were ready to leave when Samalie, a flooring specialist approached us offering to help. She quickly brought us to a section with 1 quart prepared adhesive spread, perfect for our job. Samalie was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable- Thank You!”

“These guys will still recycle old electronics. Old wires, chargers, etc. Just no batteries, rechargeable or otherwise. I usually just walk around and scratch my head at the prices however with BB doing away with physical media movies there are some good deals to be had. “Went in very early this morning (1/17/2024) (7:30 am or so) for a pick-up order; it wasn't ready yet because I ordered it in the middle of the night (lol); but Jeanine at the Customer Service desk was so nice and went out of her way to find my item. It's acts of kindness like that that will make customers come back, thank you. (Probably the nicest Home Depot I've been to, big store and great lay-out).”

“This review is a month over due. But I need to thank the staff at the Quincy location. I was in need of custom shelves. I called before I made my way and spoke to Derek from the lumber department. He was super helpful and provided an estimate of how much my shelves might cost. I arrived shortly after and was led to a man named Curtis. Curtis showed me various options and then cut the wood into shelves. Also, I expressed my need to build or find a a desk and with the extra material, Curtis went out of his way to actually build me a desk so quickly! A whole desk ! Curtis went above and beyond providing me with the best service ever. Curtis you're amazing - the best!! Leaving, a young guy named Philip was outside gathering carts. He helped me to load everything in my car and was so patient. The Quincy team is really awesome. Thank you all for your great service!”

“Wow!!! Amazing Kitchen Designer at Home Depot: his name is Gerry Earle and he is the best. We shopped around all over the south shore and were ready to put together an IKEA kitchen ourselves - had three designs and quotes for cabinets and countertops and just wanted a reasonably priced kitchen. He designed it! I had no idea Home Depot was such a good option - - the kitchen is going to be within budget and with Woodmark cabinets and corian countertops - very handsome! He is so knowledgeable, creative and smart! So patient and always listening to us - this is our first and last kitchen design - We are really grateful!”
