Recycle your cardboard, rigid plastic, and metal. Drop off styrofoam, florescent bulbs, and hazardous batteries too. Newton swap open Thu, Fri, Sat. morning.

Maybe for lack of other assignments during covid-19, there were multiple employees on duty today. That would be fine except that I had to explain to four different people what kind of batteries I was dropping off (among other materials).Google Maps shows the "Recovery Center" across the street from where it is actually located. I've submitted a correction, but I don't know if Google will incorporate the change or not.

They often like to close the gates 15 minutes before the posted closing time, at least on Saturdays.
