75 Linden St, AllstonWe wanted ice cream after going to see a college hockey game and having a dispirting dinner of beer and french fries. Found out about The Scoop N Scootery on YELP. Totally not familiar with it or the extended Boston area so we chose the Allston location on Linden Once we found it and parked we walked on in. Very functional space but not a space where we would want to hang out, and it was too cold to stay outside. So we took our ice cream to go. We just ordered a german chocolate cake and a regular chocolate in the smallest available size and the portions were huge (each one was the equivalent of two servings for a normal human). One of us got whipped cream as a topping. BEST ICE CREAM WE HAVE HAD FOR A LONG TIME-- and the quality of that whipped cream was fabulous. Now I know the place is known for all sorts of crazy multi-layered flavor sundae extravaganzas but that is just not our thing. But the quality of the ice cream itself and of that whipped cream that had a totally homemade texture and taste, I am pretty darn sure that all their ingredients will be up to that level. Employees are friendly enough too! You just walk in and enter your order on a computer.

483 Cambridge St, AllstonVery interesting place. It was fully authentic Turkish cuisine however it wasn't what I was expecting. The interior and service was excellent but the food was mediocre. The menema felt like I could make the dish at home for a quarter of the cost. It was good and portion size was very nice but the flavor and dish itself was quite underwhelming. Overall though my friends liked their dishes and it seemed like a nice hole in the wall so it was fine but overall I'd probably come here for bakery items like their baklava or coffee next time!

Cafe Brazil Bakery
125 Harvard Ave, Allstonour server was so nice! My breakfast was exceptional as was my daughters. the coffee drinks were spectacular. The only complain I have is I wish they didn’t allow big dogs inside the restaurant. One of the people are allergic to dogs so we had to sit outside in the heat.
