“I had an emergency situation. Needed to be appropriately dressed for an orthodox wedding at 6 PM, and I walked in to Hat Box at 4 PM. In no time at all, I was shown a nice selection of suits, fitted professionally, got all my accessories, and even got the hems of the pants done while I waited. They cut the tags off everything by 5:30, and I arrived at the wedding right on time, looking & feeling great. Got lots of compliments, too. You will not go wrong shopping at the Hat Box in Pikesville.”
“I was so glad I decided to make the trip to Ellicott City SPECIFICALLY to check out E.C.Pops. They have an amazing selection of unique Maryland related items, as well as literal wall to wall rooms of uniquely flavored sodas, candies, popcorns, cotton candy..the list goes on and on. I stocked up on lots of apparel and our signature JO spice to take back south with me. The customer service was top notch and the vibes were emaculate. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m home to see what’s new. It’s worth the stop if you’re in town, and I’d go so far as to say it’s worth the trip if you’re not! Heck, I drove up from Louisiana! “One of My best experience at a DXL store, they had more better selection than other stores. This location at Columbia had a really good salesman name Glen. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, honest and patience. Glen even help me find a perfect matching pair of suit pants I've been looking for. I strongly recommend Glen @ DXL if your out in the Columbia area for men's clothing wear!”
“This may initially sound like a bad review, but it's quite the opposite. I bought pants that were on a rack showing 40% off. When I got to the register, they came up at regular price. I asked the associate to check the price, and the man who checked said they weren't on sale. After I finished paying, I went back and there was the rack where I got the pants, labeled clearly 40% off. I went back and asked a manager on the side if she could come look at the rack. She told me to get in line as if I had butt in front of everyone, but I had just been in the line! She went back with me to the rack, saw it and my pants, and explained that the pants I bought were a different cut then what was on sale. I was upset. I admittedly gave her a bit of a hard time about the whole experience, from the pants being in the wrong place to her assuming I was trying to "butt" in line to have it corrected. I am already so frustrated by things in life and this was just on top of it all. But she was SO KIND to me. She apologized for them being in the wrong place. She gave me the discount anyway. But mostly she was just KIND, even though I was not. The world would be a better place if more people were like her. I hope I didn't upset her because she was just so wonderful. I hope she reads this and knows it was our experience and how grateful I am.”

“I adore this clothing store! The clothing is absolutely gorgeous and the customer service is great. My sister just married an Indian man and I came here for outfits for the engagement party (green, yellow, and gold lehenga) as well as the wedding reception (yellow, teal, and pink lehenga). I felt beautiful in the outfits and jewelry, and I got tons of compliments. The employees at India in Style were very welcoming to my white family and super helpful to us navigating the intricacies of the events and dress codes. “Love this store!!! Its like a Disney store for adults! A little high priced but liscened merchandise is usually more expensive anyway... I make sure to stop by a few times in a season bc we always grab cool shirts and figurines. The sales and clearance sections are usually "lacking" but again, it's liscened merchandise from the mega-global conglomerate DISNEY so I expect that, still, I'd like to get some cool stuff for cheaper if possible ?Singed,A mother of three who visits often ?✨️(Got our Airbender and Firebender shirts from there 2 weeks ago! “I had the most perfect experience. You could have in a retail environment. Professionalism, friendliness, creativity and just downright genuine energy. Y'all need to go see Gordon!! He is the best thing that could have happened to this location when first entering the store and walking around. I was starting to wonder if they's had the same type of service I remember years ago when they first established themselves in Baltimore. It kind of gave you a feeling of a personal shopper, almost as if I was in Nordstrom's or somewhere but even more personalized. Because I think so much in my personal life and in my professional life when it comes to fashion, I like to leave it to the people that possess the gift. In-person shopping irritates me immediately when I think about having to do it. But I have to say I'm glad that I followed my intuition that led me to this location instead of going to Arundel Mills. Thinking I will have more options. Gordon was able to assist me in manifesting my inner desire to look absolutely fabulous yet. Modest! I watched this man assist multiple people telling them their sizes without even measuring them and he was correct even with me telling me my size is from top to bottom and he was correct. I can't lie. I was absolutely flabbergasted in the inside. This man has an innate talent to provide a personalized interaction with each person that he approaches and this is a rarity especially in 2024. Where everyone seems to only focus on themselves, he provided the most selfless approach with his assistants as if he was getting paid to do it. And I'm not talking about no linear income. I'm talking about commission. Meanwhile, it was a free service as he calls it and I can always appreciate that. Friendliness, goodness, courtesy, and professionalism will never go out of style. Courtesy will always be celebrated with every interaction that I have. I witnessed this gentleman (Gordon) assisting individuals from the age of 16 years of age for attending in prom on up to a gentleman that just wanted an outfit to look good on communion Sunday. I thank God that I followed his message and led me here. I was able to obtain everything that I needed head to toe to complete my luck for my Red carpet Event. So y'all already know the walk is going to be different because I know I'm going to feel good in what I'm wearing and that matters no matter who you are or what you're attending. What you have-on contributes to your posture, your confidence, and your downright enjoyment! Gordon, thank you!!!!”
“I wish they had a larger section for girls. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive, but I was asked 4x in the 30-45 mins I was there if I needed help. I understand that the associate was just trying to be helpful, but after engaging the first time, I will come and find you if I need help. It almost felt like I was being harassed like they thought my daughter and I were going to steal. Cashier was great, she helped me reopen my previously unused credit card and I saved so much money restocking my daughter for summer.”

This store has charging stations for phones with multiple different chargers and updated dressing rooms if you are interested in trying on clothing. Super neat and cool store!”
“This place is a winner. Marcia knows how to buy interesting stuff, both new and second-hand, and help you find it in her cute shop. At first we thought the prices were going to be stratospheric, because we were reminded of high-end stores where there's one of each item and they all cost at least $400, but in fact she has a wide range of affordable to high-end items, from staples (shirts, Irish sweaters, jeans) to accessories (ties, suspenders, belts, scarves), to shoes, hats, socks--and an extensive collection of cologne! It's really nice--you should check it out.”
