I was worried that my insurance wouldn't cover it, the pharmacy tech told me to look into GoodRX while she gave my original pharmacy (out of state) a call to see what she could do. She was kind enough to give me a call back and put my mind at ease, letting me know my insurance still covered my medication, and that she would have it ready for me within the hour. Very kind and go out of their way to make sure their clients are taken care of.”

During my initial call to the pharmacy, I spoke with Dipen and he reassured me that she would be able to get the vaccines. He contacted her insurance company and then we made arrangements for him to come to our home to administer the vaccines to my mother.This in-home service is awesome!”

“This gem of a pharmacy in La Plata offers amazing customer service. I've tried both the big chain pharmacies in La Plata. Between feeling like just another face in the crowd, the too-long lines and wait times, and the steadily reducing hours including daily closures for lunch, I decided to give La Plata Pharmacy a try and I'm never going back! Today they found a coupon that saved me over $750 on a script my insurance didn't cover. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two, even if my script wasn't ready. “Let me start by saying this is a GREAT pharmacy!!!! I have had a great experience with this pharmacy. I will remain with this pharmacy. All I ask is if a calculation is made incorrectly it is OK to say I made a mistake. When a month has 31 days it pushes the dates a day ahead due to that extra day of the previous month. Other than that I have NO ISSUES with this pharmacy at all and will continue to promote and push people to leave CVS and those other chains alone!”

The Staff IS GREAT, they have helped me many times with needed premeasures with my insurance. Ive been with them for 1yr 9mo. Additionally referred 2 faimly members and 1 friend (3) people total. I usually grab a rotisserie chicken with a salad for a quick Friday night dinner. I will say this is the first time I did have to wait in line for it. But it wasn't too long.Of course there is a annual membership fee but I always find a good deal on Groupon.I love Sam's but I have to limit my trips because I always spend way over my budget(in a good way)”

“I transferred my prescriptions from the CVS in Clinton, MD to this location and I'm Extremely happy I did. The customer service is outstanding and I don't have to wait long to fill me prescriptions. The lines are never really long and I don't have to literally stand in line to ask for the prescription to be filled when my doctor had already sent it over, which is something I always had to do at the one in Clinton (and deal with nasty attitudes at the same time). Switching to this CVS has been a breath of fresh air.”

“On March 16th after a family affair we had a small get together at my brothers place. I ran into the store for a few things that we needed. The store was practically empty. I zipped down the isles and then made my way to the register. I was feeling tired so I went to a cashier and boy am I glad I did. Out of all the Safeway(s) in the area this is the first time that checkout was 100%. I approached the young lady named Wendy she said hello and did you find everything okay. She quickly checked me out even put my bags in the cart as they were filled with drinks. WOW! I paid and for the first time a cashier asked me do you play monopoly. I said you are the first cashier to ask me that. She smiled and told me to have a good night. Amazing, simply amazing. Wendy is top notch. Retail is tough - I was in the industry a few years ago. I looked for CS representatives like Wendy. They were hard to come by. Thank you Wendy for the greatest experience ever at a Safeway in the DC, MD and VA area. You're BRILLIANT and I hope your supervisors see this!”

At 8:00am realized that I needed a refill on another drug. Sent an email request hoping that it might be filled before I arrive at 10:00. At 9:30 my phone rang telling me that my refill would be waiting for me with the rest of my order when they opened at 10:00.
