“Since this UPGRADE of MECU System, I'm unable to access my Account. Password hasn't changed prior to this, however; I'm unable to access my Account. Today, I spoke to one Rep earlier after holding for 15 minutes. And at present 11/23, it's been 40 minutes & I'm holding as I'm typing.. I've been an outstanding Member & I'm a Senior. MECU Since then, my concerns have been resolved. Grateful for the grateful, professional and the kind Service that I received. Thank you MECU ?”
“Great bank and great staff! I was greeted the a gentleman I believe to be the manager within seconds of entering. He immediately paired me with the assistant manager Lacey(apologies if I got that wrong) she worked very diligently to help me with my issue and to get everything sorted even after they had closed. “I've been with first financial for over 10 years. They are very friendly, nice, and helpful. I have home loan and auto loan here. I've never missed a payment and they allow a 15 day grace period past the due date. The only negative is the collection people start calling me with a very serious tone 3 days past the due date when I have a 15 day grace period. This would be my only negative comment about this bank, especially since I'm very reliable and never miss a payment. Otherwise, great and helpful people.”

“I see so many bad reviews on here, but I’ve had a great experience with MECU since I joined in 2015. Interest rates and rewards are among the best around. I had a recent instance of fraud that was frustrating and took a number of calls to resolve, and ultimately I had to go in-person. But it was taken care of; and every MECU representative I spoke with was friendly and helpful (vs the Visa reps that were also involved). I definitely recommend this CU.”

I decided to find my own financing and applied for a loan with SECU. The pre-approval process was simple, the customer service rep I spoke with by phone was helpful, and going to the Towson branch to complete my membership application and close the loan was seamless.
Chelsea in particular was wonderfully helpful, answered all my questions, and ensured I had everything I needed to complete my loan purchase. What was taking the dealership’s bank weeks to resolve was completed in less than an hour at SECU. Now I don’t have to deal with the dealership’s back and forth and my car loan is squared away. Glad to be a new member of this local credit union.”
