The storage unit was so clean and surprisingly smelled really clean too. “An acceptable place to return a trailer in the DC areaA husband and wife launched U-Haul as a business in 1945. This truck and trailer rental service has grown to a large organization that has 23000 locations across the United States. We recently rented a small trailer to move some items to a location in DC. I have rented and returned from other locations but I have never returned an item to this location before. But like most people, I know that I do not use U-Haul very often. The location for this site is on the southwest corner of New York Ave NE and Bladensburg Ave NE. The area seems a little older than others but this place is easy to identify with a lot of trailers in a flat lot right next to the road. The entrance sign is well-marked. There is an open-air covered area to drive your return right up next to the building. It took a few minutes but a staff member came out to help us unhook the trailer and inspect it. Turn-in was that easy. I was impressed and happy that it was efficient and quick. Even with having to wait a few minutes for someone to come out, I was done and checked out in less than 15 minutes.”

“The first van they gave me had a faulty gas gauge. I lost time trying to figure it out at the gas station and had to return the vehicle. However, the staff were helpful and quickly assigned me another vehicle. They also refunded the money I spent on gas in the first vehicle. The second vehicle they gave me was new and in excellent shape. Overall would recommend this location for hours / location / services available.”

“I mean... it's a gas station. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. It's sitting of oxon hill rd. It's convenient to get to, and its also a service station for minor things, oil changes, and things of that nature. Premium/93 is 3.25 currently and I'm basically just listing that for posterity because who knows, maybe one day gas will be 13.25 and yelpers my age in 2085 will be like damn... remember how good they used to have it? Like I do every time my abuelo tells me about gas being 13 cents a gallon in the dark ages of yore. Lol Any hoo... station has the cheapest prices on this street and there are 3 other gas stations with in walking distance of this one so there ya go. Say no mo. 4/5 sounds right.”

“This location does a fantastic job. We frequently rent cargo vans for our catering and event business and every van rental has gone very smoothly. The cargo vans are always new or fairly new, low mileage, clean, and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We use to own 4 vans of our own but after spending the additional money on insurance, maintenance, and registration, we determined it was more cost effective to rent the cargo vans for our needs on the weekends for our catering events. We only own one van for our daily needs and rent the addition 2+ cargo vans on the weekends. Thank you for always taking care of us. Keep up the great job and service you provide.”

“Used the storage facility for just under a year. Everyone was helpful and kind whenever I had a question on billing or the doors stopped working again. Only 2 complaints are that they made me buy another puck style lock because the identical one I had wasn't UHAUL branded, and the loading area front door mechanism and keypad lock was always breaking, sometimes making loading in/out difficult. If they fix that, it's 5 stars. I'll be using them for truck rental, trailer hitch and more.”
