It's evident that the management takes great pride in ensuring that the shared spaces are well-kept and inviting. From the lobby to the hallways, everything is spotless and beautifully maintained.As I interacted with the current tenant, I got a glimpse of the sense of community that thrives here. They spoke highly of the friendly neighbors and the various community events organized by the management, which makes you feel like you're part of a big, welcoming family.Now, let's talk about the apartment itself. The unit I had the opportunity to clean was not only spacious but also well-designed. “We have lived in this condominium for 2 years. Here is a great place for those with children, children identify it as CAMPO, the leisure area, with a very large space where children play and in addition to the swimming pool, which in the summer is very well looked after and safe.As for the maintenance of the apartment, they are quick, every few times I needed it within a few hours they were already resolved. The office is always so friendly and attentive to residents.A clean and very organized place. I highly recommend this place to live.”

“I moved to the Silver Spring House in Dec 2023, and after looking at a good number of apartments, at different price points I ended up choosing the Silver Spring House because I love the charm, the trees surrounding the property, large size apartments with plenty of natural sunlight, pet friendly, the quiet, close to public transportation, and its close to DC/Beltway. The property manager makes it a point to address any issues that may arise and the tenants are kept abreast of any changes, etc.Tenants are cordial and friendly. This is a nice old building with plenty of charm. Love it.”

“It was an honor to come to meet with the team last night. I got there in time to meet my neighbors. Jessica, the property manager, gave a recap of the meeting for those of us that came late. This gave me the reassurance that the staff cares and we are all working together to bring The Birches to its full potential. The whole staff - Wilquin, Kyaw, and Winston stayed to meet with all of us after hours.”

“I want to apologize for making a complaint about a maintenance request for several issues that I thought could have been resolved better. I was not fair in my review and hope that review did not show a negative reflection of the great services i received. I feel if I can make a complaint I should be able to give credit where credit is due. I will say the refrigerator’s age is the problem not the maintenance services. Our new maintenance technician Mr. Hubert unfairly misjudged. (I am concerned about the amount of food that was lost though) put aside of it all Mr. Hubert corrected and now the tub drains, the refrigerator is not freezing, the air vents were cleaned, the blinds go up and down. Thank you again for sending a competent professional technician. He even left a note saying “Best Regards, Hubert” very professional.”

“I’ve been living at Alexander House for a year now. Cynthia has been phenomenal from the beginning and continues to exceed my expectations. I encountered her patience first hand when she helped me fixed my parking troubles. She didn’t retaliate or negatively react but was solution focused. Each place has its minor flaws but it is management’s response to how these are handled that makes it tolerable. Cynthia and the maintenance team have been the only staff that has been very helpful and supportive.”

“My experience at Montgomery trace has been great especially with the new manager at the office. She listens and acts on every issue my husband and I presented to the office and she follow up and make sure that our concerns are being addressed. I and my husband have been staying in the apartment for three years and we love it. The only issue I used to have is neighbors playing Loud music and would disturb my reading or sleeping but that doesn’t happen anymore so I thank God.”

“I am a proud resident of Hampton Point! Apartment living is not always easy however, with staff as excellent, responsive, and warm as Kayla (my favorite leasing agent) has helped me navigate the (sometimes) stressful apartment life. I had a terrible leak in my unit and the way Kayla was so empathetic and determined to solve my problem, if ever I am in need of assistance and have questions, I run to her. No matter how busy she is, she always takes the time to acknowledge me and make me feel as though my issues are just as important as other tenants. Her professionalism yet gregarious nature have been my top 5 reasons I have stayed here.”

Property manager Sarah and the new guy at the office is working hard to get improvements and every single time I go to the office they work quick and efficiently at the top of that they are even working to get my rent payment reduced with Montgomery county , just amazing! I’m very well treated ! Definitely getting my lease renewed and I can see that our community will be one of the safest and best to leave in silver spring!”

I heard back first thing Friday afternoon following the posting of this review. I had my lease ready to be signed and my Welcome Letter in my email. I also recieved a call from the leasing agent on my way home today. So the communication has been great but the company could totally make sure the leasing office is properly staffed so the poor team isn't running behind on things.

Note: I do not currently live here. I applied and was approved at the start of June 2024. Initially I was very excited about my upcoming move. I had missed two calls from the leasing office due to working and being on a military base and I left messages apologizing and trying to answer the questions they had asked. My last contact with someone was on June 17th after I emailed asking basically if I still had an apartment to move into and they responded quickly to that. My scheduled move in date is July 15th. As of typing, I have not received the "Welcome Letter" with more details about my move in nor have I signed a lease. I realize this timeline is not crazy or awful. Why am I upset when I don't move for another two weeks? Whenever I call, email, or internally message someone I do not receive responses. So, as a note for anyone looking to move to this complex and if you have any type of anxiety, please be careful. I have personally had to increase my anti-anxiety meds dosage over the last two weeks since I still do not know if/when I will be moving into this complex. I'll be calling the leasing office again in the morning and maybe someone will answer?”

“Angela Lombardo from the leasing department is very accommodating and responds promptly to our inquiries. On a moving day, the apartment that we reserved turned out to be unavailable due to a plumbing issue. However, the alternative unit that she offered is better and newly renovated with the same monthly rate, which is a good deal. In addition, it is near the main gate and the maintenance and security are easy to reach any time of the day.”
