“Ms. Tiara is very professional, polite, very helpful to me knowing that I'm a senior with disabilities. She packs my cart in an order of refrigerated items. She always goes the extra mile. She is a very good at serving the customers needs. She need to give classes on how to treat customers.”
“This might hav been the BEST & Freshest Turkey sub I've ever had.. Sandwich tasted like it was made with "Love".. We need more stores like this that actually care for the Neighborhood & have its residents needs in mind...!!!”

225 7th St SE, Washington“This place is amazing. Not only are the prices for specialty cheese fairly competitive but if there’s something they don’t have that you want they’ll order it for you, plus they let you try anything before you buy so there’s no buyers remorse!”
“Great place to shop. Always have the best desserts and treats, and have great service. Always have great things here. The only thing that makes this 4 stars is that the 3 potato salad used to be so good, but then they changed the recipe and it is now a lot worse. Snider's, if you are reading this, please change back the recipe. Food 9/10. Ambiance 8/10. Service 9/10.”
“Strategically located on the busy Columbia Pike/Colesville Rd, leading to i29. It's a good grocery shopping store for organics. It's a little more expensive than regular stores, but you're sure of quality.”
“I am a frequent shopper at Trader Joe's in Alexandria, and they always have the freshest flowers and everything is always restocked. During checkout, all of the clerks are very pleasant and willing to have conversations. They also inform you about the newest food snacks, and when things will be restocked, if it's not in store that day. Overall, my experience every time is very pleasant.”
“I enjoyed the small town feel. I have taken up shopping here instead of Walmart. The prices aren't bad and I don't have to deal with all of the Walmart receipt thugs at the door when I exit.”
“WILL IS THE BEST EMPLOYEE EVER!!! he helped us get the trader joe's takis and he should 100% get a raise or a promotion or something because he is the GOAT.”
8:30AM - 9PM

“This grocery store is a frozen wonderland, where convenience reigns and millennials stand. Bagged and ready, each meal a delight, perfect for those who don't want to cook tonight. Gen Z approves, with a nod and a smile, making dinner easy, with style and while. It's the modern way to dine and dash, with flavors that flash and prices less than cash!”
“Clean store. Food items are organized and easy to find.Friendly and knowledgeable staff.I can always find a variety of food from many cultures.Shopping at Trader Joe's is always an adventure.”
9AM - 8PM
6580 Ager Rd, Hyattsville“The staff is polite and friendly. They have good varieties of African food and produce but the store is messy and disorganized. Things are kinda all over the place and it's been like that for the numerous times I've dropped in to buy food.Last time I stopped by to buy some African groceries, I noticed they don't sell the meatpies and fish roll they used to sell before which was a bummer for me because they're delicious. Hope they can bring those back.Overall, the store is good, they have nice staff and good African products.”
“Expensive groceries, doesn't sell tobacco products but the owner and workers are respectful and their vegetables and fruits are always fresh AND they sell the best Beef bacon ive ever had in my life! It's $8 tho so bring your money!”
“I love Trader Joe's, especially the Springfield, VA location. Once a month, I like to get on the bus and travel to the one near Eastern Market and visit my other favorite place, the YES Market, too. Killing two birds at once.”
“I wanted to start off by saying Mahalo ( Thank You in Hawaiian) to the Whole Foods Market for selecting the location. I will add images later as I was in a time crunch, but the store has the new car smell, lol. This is the location of Whole Foods Market that you must experience for yourself, as I have never met a more friendly& helpful team and it truly does allow patrons to truly leisurely shop and yes socialize with other neighborhood inhabitants. Calling All chefs or Home cooks, do yourself a favor and walk into the produce department and marvel in the freshest quality, its updated frequently, and I’m confident that if you found something out of sorts it would be addressed immediately and without incident. Bright, displayed and colorful produce. Whole Foods Market Well Done”
“Not only are the fruits and groceries fairly priced but it’s honestly *one of the only places* that actually has affordable hot meals in the whole area. The Tamales are hella good ?If their landlord raises their rent and prices them out I will riot. Or at least tell all my neighbors and local orgs to support them and shame the landlord. It’s happened to too many good places recently”
“For wines, they have an excellent overall selection. For beers? Do you like IPAs or the seasonal fad? Then you'll find a lot to like. For anything else, the selection is very hit or miss - a couple porters, one dubbel, a handful of Oktoberfest brews, and not a "quadrupel" or barleywine in sight. I suspect 90% of beer lovers will find what they're looking for here, but you might not.”
“Everything you need. There wasn't any organic produce, but the selection is sufficient for most needs. Most common cuts of beef are available but they are very thin cuts. No grass fed options available.”
11AM - 7PM
913 King St, Alexandria“Very cute organic grocery shop. They carry delicious locally baked breads, have bulk foods like oats, and prices are reasonable for the area (especially for bulk foods), and carry vegetables in season. Also bulk tea, spices and fun little gifts. Really grateful to have a shop like this. Would love to see a true coop one day in the area but until then...”

3928 14th St NW, Washington“I am just reviewing the food. It was really nice. The servers don't really speak English but I was able to point and gesticulate what I thought looked nice. The shrimp in the creamy soup was delicious and so was the rice and plantains. I went back twice. It was 16.25 for a very large serve of food. I had some leftover for dinner. If you're looking for great takeout, come here.”
“Easily asscesible, friendly, clean, well stocked with household products, various wines, foods and non food items. They even offer assorted dark chocolates! One of the last convenient grocery stores to stay in the community!”
“Lourdes was SO incredibly helpful! I tried a bigger chain mart but I didn't get the service and product I was looking for. Lourdes was helpful, friendly, and made suggestions that were helpful. It is a small but mighty little market! Great place for the Filipino stuff my mom always used.”
“Always great customer service. They consistently have a good stock of new and popular products. Never had to worry about lower grade or fake vapes coming here, like other shops around here.”
“Food is really good! Great portions and low price. I never knew this little spot was right here. My bf ate his steak and cheese so fast, I didn’t get a picture lol”
8AM - 10PM
241 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington“I don't know why, but this place reminded me of your sitcom, corner store, supermarket. It was so welcoming when I came in here and had the shelves stocked with items. Honestly, this was one of the best supermarkets I have been in for a while. One down side here is that it is located in a rather cramped space. The aisles are narrow and if you a claustrophobic, this might not be the spot for you. Even though it is a smaller space, they do have a wide variety of items to choose from. It was a nice experience and it was great to see that this is used by so many people. I only stopped in here one night to grab a few things and there were enough people in here to make it known it is a great asset in the area. I grabbed my items, made it to the front, had a small wait in line, but it was worth it. The employee that was working was super pleasant and definitely made it a better experience.”
“Amazing amazing amazing experience!!!! I was searching for Seamoss during the pandemic shutdown. And didnt want to order it online. I came across this fresh food market and notice it was close to my house. I called to see if they were open. And the owner informed me they were closed due to the shutdown. HOWEVER, THEY STILL WERE TAKING ORDERS!! COME ON GOD!!! I placed my order for the seamoss and she had someone meet me immediately! NOW THATS WHAT YOU CALL AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! She was super nice and the process was so easy!! Thankful!! I will definitely continue to support the business!”
10AM - 8:45PM

“You got all what you want from Ethiopia! That is what amazes me! Just say it,and name it, be sure you will get it! It you don't, she will tell you she will get it next time... then she has it for you! Even books from Ethiopia are smiling at the shelves calling to be taken away! Thank you for having it all in one store!”
