“The person I dealt with (Pearce) was quite friendly and helpful. I was a bit hesitant about coming here after reading the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I pawned a 2010 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, and while I didn't get as much for it as I would have liked, on balance I thought the offer was reasonable. I told him that I have some other items ( particularly automotive memorabilia), and he said to bring them in, and he would check the values. Altogether, while not totally pleasant, since I love the guitar and hated to see it go, they made the experience as painless as possible. At least, I pawned it rather than selling it to them, so I hopefully can redeem it.”
“Just purchased a watch from Alan Furman & Co. Did lots of research before buying and found that no one in the US or Canada beats their prices for new watches. I even found pre-owned watches being offered by other vendors at prices higher than what Furman was asking for the identical new watch. Also, the customer service is top notch. There was a problem delivering my watch to me but Alan bent over backward to make things right. Highly recommended!!”
