“I stopped in on a whim today to see what kind of food they had. I was overwhelmed by the amount of items they had! I didn't know where to start, and the lady recommended the Pirozhki which was very good. Everyone was very nice! There were a lot of european specialty items here, so of you are looking for something specific, they probably have it (Russian, German, Ukrainian and more!) Definitely worth a look, and I will be back to explore all they have to offer!”
“It's very busy and the parking lot is very full, but it does have some products that are difficult to get elsewhere. It also does have produce that is of higher quality and certainly cheaper than Whole Foods.”
“They deserve 5 ? stars, because everything is perfect, EXCEPT that someone up high in the organization must have decided on a lark to open the store one hour later, changing from 8AM to 9AM --- IMHO unforgivable.
NOW, when the store opens it is much more crowded, convenient parking is considerably harder to find, check-out lines are longer, etc., all of which markedly diminishes, nay, nullifies the otherwise positive customer experience.
Have no idea what prompted upper management to make such a questionable ? and foolish decision; sure hope they will reconsider asap and undo the damage, before it's too late.

“The jumbo shrimp $8.99/lb deal is such a treat! And the shell-on is great, because you can make a court bullion shell stock and poach them in it, like I did. A dab of spicy cocktail sauce ?Delicious. The Jailbreak IPA deal made it perfect”
“We usually go to the store for international grocery items, but had never had takeout from them before. Today we tried their takeout and it was amazing. The quality and quantity of the Koobideh and stews are great, amazing value! They also really know what they’re doing and package the food professionally to minimize spillage. The entrees come with sides such as yogurt and pickles that elevate the food. They also have variety of Tahdig (crispy rice) options and are very generous with those :) Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough!”

“We were eating nearby and saw this place and decided to go in and check it out. We saw the Afghan naan looked good and it was only a couple dollars. I don't have much information about the rest of the store but this might be the best bread we have had regardless of price.Now we make sure to stop by whenever we are nearby. The bread with potato filling is also very good, not sure what it is called. The employees we have encountered there are all very friendly and helpful.”

“Drive by this spot everyday and finally stopped in after seeing the great reviews. I was warmly greeted and placed my order easily. I ordered the Italian Cold Cut sub and the fresh was soft and the ingredients were fresh. Great sub at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back!”

I love an organic lifestyle and Food Lion is cleaning it up in there, offering some healthier options when it comes or body care products. I have recently got into some Native products and they have so much to choose from when it comes to that particular brand. It’s amazing really. “You wouldn't think it would be hard to find chicken thighs with the skin on? Well, guess what? I spent an hour calling around to various Giants looking for my chicken thighs. It turns out more people want the skin removed. : ( Enter, my hero, Steve, the meat manager at this Giant. Who found my chicken thighs and put them in the back for me. All while he was there all alone in the meat section. This Giant is well stocked, has a great Gluten free section and Hispanic food section. The people who work there are very nice and accommodating. The store is well stocked. It is clean and is well managed. Located across the street from the Rockville Post Office, you can get two errands done at one time. Score! Thanks, Steve, my puppy and I thank you. Thanks Giant for the excellent service.”

“This is our go-to market, even though there is a Safeway across the street with greater selection and a Whole Foods a mile away. The store has a really well curated product line with some reasonably priced unusual offerings. The staff is friendly and helpful. We especially appreciate the classical music on the sound system instead of the awful auto-tune pop at the Safeway.”
“Overall impressed! Lots of variety that I don't see in other grocery chains. Bakery is impressive and also prepared foods looked good. Clean restrooms are located at front of store (left door as you're looking at the store from the outside). This is convenient since most grocery stores have their bathrooms in the back. Floral section is also very nice! Lots of different flowers and plants. Floral employee answered my questions but wasn't very friendly. Doesn't mean the flowers aren't pretty though. Selection is nicer looking than other similar grocery stores. If I lived in the area I would shop here.”

“This place is absolutely the best Balkan food over any of them in the DMV area. I am highly recommending it to anyone to try even if you aren’t close it is 100% worth wild taking a trip to try it. I promise you. You will not be disappointed of that I am 100% sure. ? Everything is made from the scratch and delicious the homemade Lepinje (bread is freshly baked bread/bun) it tastes heavenly and healthy!! Can wait to read your experiences and review.”
