My experience was extremely joyful. I have been a loyal client with BOFA for years. Friday 12/22/23 I had a unique experience with Luz. The way she explained CD accounts and ask me questions to make sure I was making the right choice was amazing. Over all Luz made me feel like I matter. Thank you BOFA for having employees like her. She is a great asset to your company.

Luz was very helpful she was patient, attentive, compassionate eventhough our issue with Bank of America could not be resolved and we no longer bank here. On the contrary the gentleman Mark was rude and not helpful at all.We are now happy across the street at Navy Federal.

My dad went here and they gave him and extremely hard time. He wanted to deposit a check, they told him the money wouldn’t be available overnight due to concerns of the check not clearing. Then my dad rated the experience 1 star. This was when the manger called my dad convincing him to change his low rating. The manger then said next time he should bring proof of funds.I want to to know how many people they ask for proof of funds? How many loyal customers banking here since 1994 do they do this too? This was going from one of my dads accounts to another. If you bring a check from your boss do you need to bring your bosses proof of funds? This is ridiculous I am so dissaponted to have learned about how my dad was treated here. Karina the teller GREAT, the manager however was the one suggesting that my dad had no funds in his account.

Waited 30 minutes to get cash. It took the teller ~10 minutes to cash a check for the woman in front of me. I have never seen more than one teller at this high volume branch on Rockville Pike. Who ever manages this branch is incompetent.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Don't open an account here unless you want every visit to take 1-2 hours, for things that should take 15 minute. Unlike other banks, when you enter this bank, they stop you at the door. You have to "check-in" and they ask you what you want. Then they tell you there's a 20-30 minute wait before someone can help you and suggest you make an appointment for another time. You'll be prevented from going directly to a teller and held in a waiting area. By the way, they are only open until 5 during the week, so forget trying to come in after work. They are unreceptive to feedback, and their lobby is usually full of people waiting. Poor management and even worse customer service. In a client services industry, these guys have no clue about service. Take your business to Chase or TD. Viviana was particularly rude and unhelpful. We asked her for a update after waiting 40 minutes to be helped. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she was the manager. Then she very flippantly said she respects everyone's time. Yeah, right.

I must say that the customer service I received was nothing short of amazing. The process was quick, efficient, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, and made sure I was aware of all of the features and benefits that come with the account. I was also given a great rate on a loan, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I have been extremely impressed with Bank of America's professionalism and I highly recommend this Bank of America!

Customer service is not bad but unfortunately they don't care about people waiting on line too long. They don't have or hire enough tellers

ATM card reader does not work. Tellers queue is simply huge. Nobody seems to bother. Ok. You call support - same there we will answer your call in a couple of months. Thank you for perfect service!Another visit the same service. 2 guys approached to ask if I am being helped. Both went away to search somebody else to do something. Why to have 2 of them if they can do nothing? A lot of workers walk around and nobody bothered by crowd of customers in waiting area. They all are busy. The same request at other big bank took me 30 seconds in and out

Really poor customer service. I was waiting on the drive thru to use the ATM machine and when it was my time to go next a brinks truck cut my off and the driver said the lane is closed. Bank of America manager- who is your customer; brinks or people who have business relationships with you?Which is generating monetary value? Why can’t the brinks security guard just wait till drive thru is cleared?

It's crazy that you show up and then wait over 40 minutes for a simple 2 minute walk up issue. And this is the first bank that requires appointments of everyone!!

The service is extremely slow. Line didn’t move for 15 mins with only two people working and the one walked away

If you want to ruin your day go to this branch. I’m a pensioner who has been with BOA since it was Suburban Trust in 1976.I’d give a zero score if it was available. Dealing with this bank is so unpleasant. You walk in the branch and you are met by a sour-faced person named Jeff who ‘directs’ you to the tellers. The tellers were two youths who were going through the motions of being tellers. Customers approached them with smiles and cheerfulness and they were met with blank stares. No, the tellers were not wearing masks so I could read their expressions. After I got done with the tellers I had a question about my checking account. I asked the front-door host who I could speak to about a question I have about my checking account. He pointed towards the lobby and said “these two people are ahead of you.”I said I don’t mind waiting. He said “but we’re short handed.”I said “there’s a $954 charge on my checking I don’t recognize. I’m worried.Very reluctantly he said to wait.Later he asked me to show him the charge on my BOA app.I did. He didn’t recognize it either. His solution “call the bank.”I said “I’m at the bank.”He said the bank has more information than he does.I asked him why a branch representative can’t call the bank as part of Customer service. He said no, only I could call the bank and get the answer.I made a bit of a fuss and eventually they got a rep named Mohamed Abdalla who empathized with my situation and … wait for it… he called the bank.He knew what department to call and who to ask. I would have spent several frustrating hours to accomplish what he did in 10 minutes.
