“Excellent staff! Ashley was very welcoming and very through when it came time to checkin and checkout Luna from her appointment. The technicians were very knowledgable and attentive. Dr. Moore gave excellent care to Luna and was great at communicating her treatment plan. I definitely recommend this Banfield location compared to some of the others in the area, by far my favorite location for care.”

“Thank you so much for squeezing Captain Morgan in. Dr. Alcott was great, I really appreciate the time he took with us and explaining things. I will try to keep him from eating stuff from outside which is almost close to impossible. It took a good week and he finished his medication and is back to "normal".
Thanks again to the front desk staff and Patrick was very helpful (as usual) answering my reply texts since I can't always get to my emails.

“Fairland Animal Hospital has taken care of our three rescue adopted Miniature Pinschers since their first visit after adoption. Te staff and veterinarians care about four-legged family members and treat them with love and respect. The veterinarians are able to explain problems that surface and what treatment options are available. We highly recommend this practice.”
“The veterinarian was super nice and loved my ball pythons. The lobby is also really cool looking they have several fish tanks. They seem to really care a lot about the animals and live their work.
Edit: This is one of the closest places near Frederick that accepts treatment on snakes. Also this veterinary office tries to make sure your animal is living in the right environment and gets the correct and needed nutrients or equipment. I might switch all my animals here even though it’s a long drive.”
“Could not say enough amazing things about this clinic! I went with my best friend and her English Bulldog, for a check up and just to find a new veterinarian for her beloved Fatboy. Dr. Carrier and Ryan (Vet Tech) were exceptional!!! Compassionate, caring, and you can truly tell they are in this profession for the animals. Both of us have grown up with dogs and both own our own now, never have either of us felt so seen and heard by a veterinarian. Dr. Carrier thank you SO MUCH, you are one of a kind! ❤️”

“This is an excellent vet clinic! I can’t recommend them enough. They have taken good care of our puppy and the staff is all excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and they always remember our pup and her quirks. They got her in same day when she had an ear infection. They were also super helpful when she was having some pain/discomfort after her spay and gave her a different medication which is working well for her. Overall, very responsive and helpful clinic. We look forward to continuing to take our pup here.”
“Big shout-out to the Highland Veterinary Hospital team. Today I had to put down my 16 year old dog, and Dr. Gary and his team came all the way out to my house so that he could pass comfortably in a familiar place. They were professional and compassionate throughout the entire process, asking me questions and explaining everything along the way. They handled all paperwork in advance so that I could just be in the moment to say goodbye to my dog. All of our clinic visits have been very pleasant as well, and I never feel like they were pushing unnecessary things on me. Highly recommend!”

“Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is EXTRAORDINARY! I do not live in Maryland. I spent several months in the area, and my elderly Shitzu needed vaccinations. They knew I lived in AZ and would not be a regular customer. Dr. Forbes was concerned about the size of my dog's nipples. I had asked my LA vet and my vet in Seattle about why they were enlarged. Dr. Forbes did not dismiss this condition. Dr. Forbes, who knew she probably wouldn't see my dog again, said this wasn't normal, and she wasn't satisfied not knowing what was happening. She wanted to research what this could be, and then she emailed me with three possible reasons. I am impressed. She truly cared about my dog. The front office team is pleasant, professional, and welcoming. I strongly recommend Falls Road Vet. I would give Dr. Forbes 10 stars if I could.”
“To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!”
“They're amazing, they are a smaller clinic but if it hadn't been for them taking my cats X-rays her lungs could've filled with more fluids before we ended up getting them drained at apex ? she ended up having cancer but these doctors will forever be the ones who saved my cat with their advice and care. (I have 12 pets as well so their benefits for customer loyalty is such a big help)”

“The staff at Kenhaven are absolute angels – from the front desk, the vet nurses, and the doctor. I love LOVE that they are thoughtful enough to have two entrances, one for dogs and one for cats. This might seem small for some pet owners but not for us. We adopted our ginger from the shelter when he was 9 and is terrified of any other humans and animals especially dogs (we adopted him and agreed not to get any other pets due to how scared he is). He is now 17 years old and has never been to another vet!!!!!!
Being allowed to bring him into the cat side without the worry of running into a dog on the way in or in the waiting area makes Tristan’s experience literally stress free.
Along with the two entrances they are extremely flexible with scheduling – I work full time and cannot wait around, so they let me drop him off in the morning and pick him up after work. They always call me early afternoon with updated/how he is doing and ask how I would like to move forward. They allow time to weigh out your options and do not pressure you. Id take the reviews saying pet parents are being pressured with a grain of salt.
The only thing is I wish we had some kind of pet insurance on Tristan because the bills are kind of high but its so worth it for how Tristan is treated when he goes in. I know he’s "just a cat" but he's our family and he’s treated with kindness and a lot of love when hes there. If you sign up online you get some amazing coupons to stock up on pet food and they are always emailing deals and discounts.
When we go and pick Tristan up they always tell us how much of a lovebug he is and that they love hugging on him while he waits for mom to pick him up. For Tristan to be so comfortable around them speaks volumes to how he’s treated when I am not around. I trust Tristan in their care and will never move vets. Kenhaven is family. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our old man <3”
“The doctors and staff at Nebel Street have taken care of my cats for over 20 years. They are unfailingly attentive, and treat each "patient" like their own. They take their time in the examining room, provide careful explanations, and regularly follow up with phone calls after each visit. Originally, I lived a few blocks from their office, which was very convenient. Although I have moved, the 30 minute drive is well worth it. I wouldn't trust my cat family with anyone else.”
“I've been bringing my two (now three) Rhodesian Ridgebacks here for several years. Our first visit was pretty dramatic - one of my pups went headfirst through a sliding glass door, and we came into the waiting room near closing time with a large bloody dog with a lot of lacerations.
Dr. Jason Scott provided excellent care for our pup, and has been our go to vet for the past 5+ years for all three of our dogs (as well as the many Ridgebacks I foster). His advice is solid, pragmatic, and compassionate. Highly recommended.”

“Far better experience than I imagined. Very reasonably price for very thorough examination and treatment. My dog has a pretty bad yeast infection in her ear and her regular vet didn’t have any time to see her this week so I found this place which I’m always skeptical to take her to new locations but given the good reviews and conveniently close to where I live I gave them a call early morning and was able to get a appointment the same day. The person who answered the phone was very professional and offered a quick easy method to get her in the system as she is a new patient. The person at the front desk, Erica, was kind and attentive. the waiting room was very spacish and clean, not crowded at all. I did not have to wait any time for a room to be ready to see her since I had an appointment I believe. The room itself was very clean, didnt have that smell as most vet rooms do, and very well air conditioned. The doctor who treated my dog was Adriana Ogando she has a very calm and professional demeanor and knew exactly how to handle my dog as she is a big dog but anxious in new environments. Both vet techs who helped were very kind and thorough. I was most afraid of what it was going to cost me but ended with a very reasonable bill for all they did. Exam, culture, cleaning and prescriptions all less than 300$. Maybe a third of the cost of what her regular vet would’ve charged me. 100% recommend and I am glad I have a local vet I am able to bring her to now. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Animal Place!”
