“My review is very delayed, but I came in a week before Christmas for my cat. The kind woman at the front desk was very helpful. I also had Tokyo, Lauren, and Wiley (I hope I spelled their names right) who took care of my cat. They all had excellent customer service and I’m happy they enjoyed being around my cat. I’m surprised my cat was friendly to them and I’ll definitely recommend this spot to anyone!”

“I have an anxious/reactive Rottweiler that I take to Dr. Boyd’s, the team there treats him better than any other clinic we’ve taken him to (not trying to bash names because everyone does the best they can when it comes to a reactive big pup) and they blow my mind with each visit with the amount of professionalism they have. They’re always very understanding and accommodating and we’re in and out very quick so my pup can have the easiest experience there.They have such a warm atmosphere when you walk into the building and everyone is always super nice!My pup is being re-homed out of state, but if/when we decide to care for another pet we will certainly come back to Dr. Boyds for the best care possible.”

“Edited. I did not know that Dr. Hambright sold the practice, but without knowing, the last time that we were there I have seen major changes in the office, prices and staff working there. We will have to see how it goes. As per Dr. Hambright he is simply the best doctor in this area, and we have been around a lot. The place is clean and the receptionists are kind. We love this place is just a bit far for us. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Hambright.”

“We had been told by our primary care vet that our cat was facing some serious problems but wouldn't give us much clarity on anything. We came here due to their on-call radiologist but were relieved to be met by a kind, empathetic, and deeply caring staff. The veterinarian, Dr Sara Thompson, spoke to us and gave us the space and platform to ask a multitude of questions without pressuring us and making it feel like we were heard and understood. Her compassion and knowledge not only brought us comfort but allowed our anxieties to be quieted down by her logic and reasoning behind what best steps we had to take for our cat to become healthy.I would recommend anyone to come here for Dr. Thompson and the wonderful vet-tech and lovely staff. In such stressful and worrying times, these are the people I hope to have watch over our precious cats.”

“If money is not an object this is the best place you can take your pet.The lobby at VCA North Rockville was recently updated and is beautiful. There is plenty of seating space, it is kept clean, and they have complimentary coffee and tea while you wait.When you enter the exam room they write the name of your pet on the white board and welcome you very warmly. The vet technicians show a true love for animals. They were so gentle with my squirming cat and even offered her treats to try to make her happy. My cat wanted desperately to hide in a cabinet, and they emptied everything out of that cabinet so my cat could hide in peace while waiting for her exam.For my pet's annual checkup they gave her all the necessary vaccines and ran blood work. This cost $1,040 which is a difficult number to swallow, however, I know they did a thorough job and that my cat is healthy for another full year.If you are on a budget this is not the vet for you. I think VCA is the top of the line in pet care, they may be over the top which leads to a high bill, but there is no doubt in my mind that my pet is getting the best veterinary care possible.”

“I came to this location yesterday for dog grooming and my dog's stylist, Lesly C., was amazing; she did a wonderful job grooming my miniature goldendoodle, so if you have the same breed or any dog with a curly coat, I'd highly recommend her. I'm giving a five-star rating for the grooming and customer service, however the store itself is quite dirty. I noticed there's a smell due to dog pee and I'm unsure how often it gets cleaned, other than that I love the numerous amounts of products they have for any kind of pet.”

“My baby dog is now healthy because of Dr.Yogi’s right call. My dog had been crystal in his urine for a long time, and the previous Dr never noticed that. My baby was close to having a kidney stone, but Dr.Yogi prevented this situation. I could not be more appropriate to him. A tip: walk in for an appointment. A phone call is not good.”

“We have a multi-cat household and a dog. Six years ago we added a young female cat to the group. Pinky, the oldest cat, was very anxious and unhappy about the arrival of Phoebe. She attacked Phoebe. We had Dr. Reich visit and assess the situation in the home where she could see normal behaviors as opposed to at the vet's office. Dr. Reich prescribed the appropriate anti-anxiety drug and within a few months, Pinky was much calmer and we were all a lot happier.”
