“Every time we go in, the folks there are friendly and smiling and ready to help you find what you're looking for. They have a very eclectic selection of antiques and oddities. We always enjoy just browsing and normally buy something every time we go. Admittedly, on some items, the prices seem a tad unreasonable, though those are set by the individual sellers, not by the owners of the Village, and sometimes the seller is willing to negotiate. If you're in the area, it is worth stopping by.”

“The staff and owner of this sweet shop went ABOVE AND BEYOND to embroider something last minute for Christmas. The staff and owner are lovely. They make their own candles (not a scented candle person, usually too stinky) but theirs are perfectly balanced and natural - and are made by women who are in need (I bought two). Lovely linens, robes, jewelry, etc. I will be recommending this sweet shop to all my friends.”

“Full disclosure- we did go here for the little festival, and it was lovely! There was live music, chickens and alpacas to look at, and lots of beautiful pottery/artwork to buy. There was also a garden you could relax in that was gorgeous. Overall a very nice place to visit!”

“I went to Bassett to purchase living room furniture. I arrived at the store, and William Reichold was the only one that approached me and said hello. The other sales associates were standing at the front of the store and did not even say hello. I frankly felt like I was sized up by the other associates assuming my spending power. William stepped right in and provided outstanding customer service going above and beyond. I was disgusted with the other sales associates; the leadership team in the store needs to address the lack of customer service and, frankly, common courtesy. I recognize that the sales associate alternate who gets the sale when customers come into the store. However, I do not believe that has anything to do with being courteous. If not for William, I would have driven to the Virginia location and made the purchase. Please be advised that I am only giving this store 5 stars because of Williams's customer service. If I were to rate the store as a whole I would only give it one star. I would recommend to anyone coming into this store that you ask for William. If he is not in the store you will likely not get good service or you may be assessed/judged based on whether you have the ability to purchase anything prior to being acknowledged.”

We have not been successful until we arrived at the Olney, MD HomeGoods.Not only did we get pillows and a rug, but a nice glider - swivel chair.More importantly, we want to complement Juan! who was the coordinator who put the rug in our car and then again put the chair in when we returned later in the same day.He is very efficient and careful and I think he deserves our praise and HomeGood’s praise!”
