“We have been going to College Park Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They have reliably treated our 3 dogs and now our cat. They are responsive and excellent diagnosticians. Our dogs made it to 15 years old each and I would expect our cat to live longer. Great staff.”
“Dr T office is the best there is. The place is not great in emailing back or calling back, but they are very helpful once you get them on the phone and they always provide very quick care and my super reactive dog feels safe and sound with them.”
“We’ve been bringing Lance to District Vet since we adopted him through City Dogs Rescue. He was heartworm positive at the time so we were “frequent flyers” for a while. We have been nothing but thrilled with everyone at the centers. They are attentive, responsive, and caring. We don’t mind coming from Alexandria because it’s with it! Thanks for all your care!”
“Dr. Phillips' treatment plan for our cat has improved his quality of life tremendously. We love the way she stays in touch with us and answers all of our questions quickly. And the staff at Kindness are all terrific.”
“Great experience!!! I have an extremely anxious senior chihuahua, Pop, and I took him to Caring Hands Clarendon to establish care. He was so anxious about being at the vet that he was shivering in the lobby, but he instantly warmed up once he met Dr. Goff and the lovely veterinarian technicians (I cannot remember their names - sorry). My pup is not exactly a people person, but he was really relaxed and actually enjoyed being with the staff there. The entire experience was great, from scheduling to getting bloodwork results. The medical team made the visit go extremely well, and they performed a thorough exam of Pop, including tonometry (required touching his eye, and I was surprised they were able to do it). They also explained the cost (financial) and benefit of every procedure/vaccine before they did it. I have seen some reviews mention affordability, and I think the prices are very reasonable… also, without my asking, they applied a 10% discount so I ended up being surprised by a cheaper price at checkout.I will be going back for dental surgery, and I received an estimate that includes a range of what the cost could be because it will depend on the number of extractions needed. I appreciated the transparency in what the maximum cost could be. And the price for dental surgery also seems reasonable to me. Also, the estimated price included an offer for a 10% discount if scheduled in the next month.I didn’t get the sense that the staff there was concerned with anything other than Pop’s health and getting him the best quality of care they could (while being mindful of the cost). Pop and I will be coming to this practice as long as Dr. Goff is there… not to say that the other vets aren’t also good,r but I haven’t met them yet. But the entire team (including receptionist!) that I did meet was wonderful.”

2955C S Glebe Rd, Arlington“We take our dog and cat to this vet and have always had positive experiences! The vets are friendly and explain things thoroughly when needed. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet techs seem to really care about the animals. Overall, they are also upfront about pricing and costs.
Our dog fights really hard when it's time for shots or a nail trim, but the staff here is patient and helpful when he is being a wild man. Special shout out to Mimi who was so kind and thoughtful when helping give our dog his shots and care. She definitely helped keep him as calm as possible to minimize stress.”
“We have been going to Lynn Animal Hospital for over a decade. They provide excellent care and have wonderful staff. We particularly appreciate Dr. Carmen. He has gone out of his way to help us when we needed immediate treatment.”

13425 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring“Fairland Animal Hospital has taken care of our three rescue adopted Miniature Pinschers since their first visit after adoption. Te staff and veterinarians care about four-legged family members and treat them with love and respect. The veterinarians are able to explain problems that surface and what treatment options are available. We highly recommend this practice.”

1326 H St NE, Washington“Met with three veterinarians already and they have all been very patient and kind, both with my pets and myself. This is my first year as a pet owner and each of them have helped me feel more confident about choosing to adopt. Strongly recommend.”
“Everyone here is always so wonderful. They are kind and patient even when I need to take the last hour appointments due to my work schedule. Special shout out to Kiana and Skye for being lovely receptionists and to Lisa Nicole for being so wonderful taking care of my million questions!”
“I was charged for a hygiene cut that was not done. I immediately called back to inform and they stated they were going to credit me for the $55. I have not received the email to verify the credit.”
“They're friendly, helpful, and professional. They're great for routine stuff, and they have vets who can complete the paperwork you need to travel abroad with your pets, which is very useful.”

3000 10th St N B, Arlington“Switched to CAC North from another vet in Fairfax and I wish we had started here from the start! I have two Italian greyhounds and have done an international health certificate here, and also been in for: routine vaccinations, anxiety medication management, parasite deworming, and GI issues. Luxor and Pharoah love to see Caitlin (tech) and DVM McCrory, but when we needed to get in asap for my newly adopted iggy who wasn’t holding down food, Julia (tech) and DVM Gottlieb were incredible! When I was struggling to get my adopted iggy’s previous vet records, the staff were able to get them on file for me. Prescriptions here are so easy to fill in office or on Chewy, and their online booking system is awesome. Italian greyhounds are weird, anxious little guys and the staff is always willing to bend over backwards to make them comfy. We are going to start seeing their vet behaviorist for some help with our reactive new little guy, and we know we will be in the best care! Receipts and post-visit instructions are always emailed and we usually always get phone calls after visits to see any add-on care is needed. This place is incredible!!”
“Update: VCA Old Town was able to finally get VetSource to initiate the refund. While this was still a frustrating experience, I appreciate the manager both reaching out to me directly and ensuring this was finally resolved.
Use to be the best in town but lately it's been a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for an appointment the other day and had to remind them I was there before my dog could get seen. The relationship with vetsource is the worst I've ever experienced. Wrong delivery and no recourse though they and vetsource promised I would be refunded. Will not be returning except to dispute this vetsource nonsense.”

8313 Grubb Rd, Silver Spring“Family Pet Vet is the absolute best. Dr. Wehrli is so compassionate and authentic. And, not only is Dr. Wehrli the best, but his staff is my absolute favorite. In particular Beatriz and Cai! They have so much love for all the animals. They are so kind and helpful. We had a really serious surgery with our older dog and they were so helpful in walking me through everything and getting him out and into the car to help me. When our dog ended up passing they were so compassionate. We now have a new puppy and they are just as loving. I feel like they are a truly family vet practice.”
“I decided to try another vet due to costs and customer service and I am so glad I did. Incredibly friendly staff and reasonable prices. The veterinarian took the time to explain issues and possible scenarios. My dogs are old and require more care. I’ll definitely be bringing my dogs back.”
“We have five cats and one dog, all under care of Dr. Silver and his great team. Their sympathetic bedside manner, care and sensitivity to pets health is what we have witnessed every single time we have been in the clinic. We highly recommen The Chevy Chase Veterinary Clinic.”

4105 Brandywine St NW, Washington“I highly recommend Dr. Armour and her team. Our dog Chiky only has one eye so we want to keep it in good shape! :) While treating a very stubborn corneal ulcer that took months to heal, Dr. Armour and her staff were never discouraged. They were always patient with our questions, very kind to Chiky, willing to try different options, and super responsive between appointments. With Dr. Armour’s steadfast help, Chiky’s ulcer finally healed and he’s doing great. Thank you Dr. Armour and team!”

1781 Arnold Ave, Joint Base Andrews“We just moved here in July and they were able to get our pup in to be seen for an initial checkup quickly and just did his neutering a few days ago. The staff is super nice and helpful, another guy missed his appointment the day before and they helped schedule him in during a time that worked for him later that week.
The neutering went well, pup hasn't indicated all that he's in pain or uncomfortable. They gave him plenty of anxiety medication to make sure that he doesn't get worked up cause he can be a little anxious. Doc came out and greeted him before they took him back and answered all of our questions.
Definitely recommend using them, they're really reasonably priced for the area and everyone is super kind!”
“Overall legit and helped my cat out a lot. Also affordable!
Dr Sussman and the vet techs did a great job with Meowys multiple ailments he had when we got him at the shelter. The front desk got us setup for appointments and handle refills promptly”
“I was walking my dog in the park after hours and a little miniature bull terrier came up to us, with no collar or leash. I could tell the little dog was well cared for and called the SPCA for guidance. I was directed to take the dog home and someone from their staff would come to my home that evening and pick up the dog. The person was not certain of the exact pick up time but the dog would get picked up. About an hour went by and I received a call that the owner had called to see if anyone had reported finding the dog. To make a long story short, the owner was a neighbor, stopped by my house and retrieved his beautiful little dog. Just a reminder of how grateful I am that we have a centralized resource to help us with all facets of animal care in the county.”
“Dr. Morgan and his staff took the absolute best care of my sweet husky Juno for many years. I think she even looked forward to going to the vet because she was always so well loved by the staff when we went <3”
“I had a great experience during my visit with my pet. Dr. Tibbs was very knowledgeable and answered my thousands of questions. My cat was difficult during the visit, but Dr. Tibbs and Brandon were able to handle her. Brandon was very comforting to my cat because she was very afraid. Michelle who was at the front desk was very friendly and also answered all question asked. Overall, it was a great visit with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.”
“Absolutely top notch veterinary care for kitties. Every aspect of care at Cozy Cats is incredible. The front desk staff are friendly, competent, always take their time to work with you on scheduling, and are clearly animal lovers. The techs are amazing, they take such detailed information about every aspect of your cat's wellbeing, are huge cat lovers, are so sweet to even cats that may not necessarily reciprocate, and clearly love their profession. The vets are incredibly knowledgeable, take their time explaining diagnostics and potential diagnoses, don't rush the appointments at all, and spend time getting to know your cat (and give them snuggles). The overall experience here is so much better than other vets I have seen - the cat-only environment is much less stressful, and the obvious love of cats from every person who works there means that they get snuggles, petting, treats, and gentle, careful care at all times. One of my cats required a large dose of sedatives to be seen at my previous vet - she is perfectly fine at Cozy Cats without any medication.I can't recommend this practice highly enough and will absolutely be a lifelong client with my clowder of kitties.”
“Animal Place has been amazing. Nobody likes spending a grand on multiple vet services. It’s necessary sometimes. Our Pittie who was suffering from pancreatitis came was seen by the friendly staff. Again, you’re stressed as hell but the doc and staff made this a solid experience. Not every experience has a happy ending. This crew will be taking over primary vet care from here on out for all our animals.”
“Good place to find your pet. They always have lot of cats and dogs ready for adoption. Shelter seems clean, animals healthy and the staff are friendly, helpful as well.
The adoption process was very quick !”
“The vet and the assistant were kind and knowledgeable, taking good care of my cat. Prices were higher than I expected(maybe it is average in this town), and they recommend all the expensive vaccines. But they explained my options and asked permission before doing anything.”
