“We've been eating McCutcheons for generations, so I stopped in to pick up apple butter for my grandma. I'd never been to the actual store, and it did not disappoint! Plenty of local goodies to be had there along with every McCutcheons product I could want. Plus, the pricing and service were awesome!”

As I was checking out, I questioned the cashier about the cleanliness of the store and asked if it was always this clean and fresh. She nodded and told me she has been employed there for several years and this is the norm for this store, that this is the manager's policy and is standard operating procedure. Impressive! And what a pleasure to shop in such a nice environment. Guess who has a new market?!!!”

(Including things I simply don't find elsewhere!)I'm also very grateful for their decision to make a designated clearance section in the back of the store! “Aldi's always has lovely produce. They have great prices on canned goods. Their selection of frozen foods is limited, their steam
in bag veggies are excellent. They have random seasonal items that are worth browsing. The staff are friendly and helpful. Both Frederick locations have self checkout stations. Always a clean store. Be sure to have a quarter to get your shopping cart, you'll most likely need one.”

“Great Latino market in Walkersville. The cashier went out of her way to open the door for me and my baby who was in a stroller. They have a variety of foods from Mexico and Central American countries. They carry the best corn tortillas you can buy ( El milagro), fresh vegetables, herbs for Latino cooking, and basic staples like milk. So glad to have a Latino market close to Walkersville, Linganore and Thurmont.”

“Safeway is one of the better grocery stores for price and quality. There's nothing special about it, but it also doesn't have negatives like some other chains. It's always clean and well lit and the staff is usually friendly.”

“This Giant is a great place to shop. While the aisles are a bit congested, there is a wide array of groceries, great produce, and nice (albeit small) seafood counter. Staff is friendly and always ready to help.”
“The store is nice but when you are shopping and someone is following you through out the store as if they think you are stealing makes you want to spend your money elsewhere. Not sure if tha man following us around the store works there or not. But may just have to find another store to shop after today. But I will say the cashier was great and we did spend almost $200 with the grandkids coming you do have to grab some snacks along with some other things but she checked us out quickly.”

“Safeway has everything anyone could want in a supermarket. The prices are a little higher than their competitors. However, you can save if you become a member and also use "Digital only Offers." Some stores offer Grocery Delivery! So, if you utilize all the gimmicks offered, you dont have to shop around.”
“CARLA at the Giant on Kingfisher Drive is amazing. Always has a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Even when I call she recognizes my voice and she just makes my day. Stephenie the manager did an excellent job training her. We need more like Stephanie and Carla!”
