“We have had a few emergencies with our kitties, and your practice has been very supportive. My fiance's family and I bring 6 pets to West Frederick Vet for routine care. We appreciate how caring the Doctors and technicians are. I also really appreciate how kind and accommodating the person at the front desk is. There have been times I needed to cancel an appointment due to my cat escaping, and you have been very understanding. One gesture that showed me that you care was when I could not bring my cat's stool sample promptly, and the Dr. just gave me a new container so I could collect it whenever possible since I had already paid for it. I love my pets as they are part of our family, and I feel so thankful that I live a 3-minute drive from your practice. It means a lot knowing your team is there when we need help.”
“I get nervous taking our dog to the vet alone( she's great, I get nervous around other dogs). I was instantly relaxed when we entered the office. It is a warm and welcoming place for animals and there humans. I adored our vet tech as well. She really treated my baby with the best care”
“Friendly and caring staff. Very clean clinic and office. We have been going to Kingsbrook Vet for over 12 years and highly recommend them. We trust them (especially Dr. Cardella) in keeping our furry babies healthy.”

9405 Baltimore National Pike, Myersville“We have been taking our pets there since I was a teenager. They always took great care of us and have squeezed us in when we had semi emergencies. It's important to have regular vet who knows your pets before there is an emergency. I only wish they had an exotics vet therecas well so all my pets could come there.”

207 S Church St Suite A, Middletown“I really wanted to say I’ve only had one experience with this vet, but I’m so so glad they were the ones who helped us. We very unexpectedly lost one of our cats of 14 years a week ago. I called this vet in hysterics right after I found him because we didn’t know what to do and they’re basically in our backyard. The women on the phone and in the office were simply amazing. Myself, my son, and husband were beside ourselves and basically nonstop bawling because we had just found our cat not even 10 minutes before we stepped into their office. They gave us a room and all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. The compassion we were shown at the time was so very needed by the three of us, so thank you. The process even though not expected was smooth. Less than a week after he passed we received his paw print in a very nice box with a picture frame on top and his ashes were in a wooden box that was engraved with his name and a picture frame as well. So. All in all thank you we sincerely appreciated it and want to pass our thanks you to the ladies working on 9/04 right before close it really meant a whole lot to us, thank you. ❤️”
“I cannot recommend Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic enough! Since adopting my two cats from the shelter last year, this clinic has shown nothing but exceptional care and compassion. From routine check-ups to any concerns I’ve had, the staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure both my furry friends and I are comfortable.
What really stands out is their genuine love for animals and the personalized care they provide. They take the time to explain everything clearly, and I always feel like my pets are in the best hands. I’m so grateful to have found such a dedicated team of professionals to look after my cats. Thank you, Opossum Pike Veterinary Clinic, for everything you do!”

“I have been going to Dr. Hawley for 6 plus years and have had nothing but the absolute best for our Benese Mountain Dog. The staff here are amazing. Dr. Hawley is excellent with mine even with his extreme anxiety at appointments. He never overcharges and never has me get unneeded things, procedures. Even suggested I wait one time on XRays when my boy was limping ( because he would of been required to be put to sleep for them) we waited and two weeks later he was perfectly fine with no limp. I know if I would have taken him anywhere else I would have been socked for a grand at least. I appreciate the care at this office and although I know retirement will be someday for Dr. Hawley I regret it already for us ( not him).”
“I have been using Old Farm Vet for a year since I moved to Frederick. I have always had a positive experience and recommend them at every opportunity.
In that year a lot happened with my dogs, my male English Bulldog got pneumonia and unfortunately, passed away in March. The staff and doctors were amazing at trying to save him all while keeping him comfortable on his final days.
My Cavalier King Charles goes in for regular vet appointments and grooming with Amy. He always looks great! Highly recommend their grooming services.
Then I recently got an English Bulldog puppy. They helped her with all her puppy visits and vaccines and just performed her spay. Dropping off your puppy for any surgery is hard and they made me feel at ease because I trust their understanding of the brachycephalic breed and the specific requirements for any surgery.
Thank you to Dr. Wilson, Dr. Hiltner, Amy, Amber, Elizabeth and the entire staff at Old Farm Vet!”
“I thank all the employees and volunteers that assisted the dozens of dog and cat owners get their pets rabies shots this past week. It was a first for me and my usually non-compliant cattle dog. I called in advance because I was concerned there may be an issue, but Jessica assured me they would work with me and my dog. What happened next was next to miracle-- Jessica and the vet gave my dog a shot with out an issue. Professional, fair, firm and loving worked! Thanks for great team work! So grateful you you did not turn us away, but cared enough to try. As a result, I paid for the shot and made a donation (not to boast, rather to encourage others to give!).
I will continue to support the mission of the FCHS and won't forget what happened.”

15 S Court St, Frederick“McClellan is the only place I found in Frederick that can issue International Health Certificates for pet travel. The price was very very reasonable, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They understand how stressful it can be to obtain the certificate, especially considering it's only valid for 7 days before travel, including potential USDA delays. I really appreciate all their help!
Dr. Kellogg was very patient and knowledgeable about the requirements and timelines for the international health certificate. This process took about 6 months, from the initial vaccine to the final examination and USDA endorsement. He even tracked recent changes that took effect just two weeks before my travel. Thanks to Dr. Kellogg and the team, I got the certificate on time and was able to bring my cat overseas without any issues!”
“5/2015- My OTTB whacked her face on an overhead beam (thinking she reared up bc of a bee) and broke a bone in her face. We tried on-farm treatment with our local vet, to no avail. Took her to Spurlock where they removed the floating bone, inserted a piece of medical plastic to seal the sinus puncture she made and stapled her up. VERY reasonably priced, VERY KIND STAFF. Would recommend 100%!”

1080 W Patrick St Apt 32, Frederick“We came in with our cat Kevin who was wheezing and struggling to breathe. When the vet gave us a quote for treatment, we knew we couldn’t move forward. When we were honest about the financial barrier, the doctor still gave him the bare minimum treatment and recommended options for us in the area that she has professional connections with. If Kevin is dealing something that’s going to take daily treatment for the foreseeable future, we need a more affordable option and the vet here did everything in her power to hook us up. Definitely recommend!”
“Dr.Girton and the staff at Banfield have absolutely wonderful with our older, large dogs. We have an adopted pitbull mix with vet anxiety and a rewcue doberman who is just a love bug. When the rescue dobe needed some masses removed, they recommended we do it when she was already our for her dental treatment which is part of the wellness plan we purchased. This may sound like common sense, but I've found other vets in my area try to nickel and dime you. I've been happy with the rates here and with how all of the back end staff treat my babies. Most of the front line staff are also awesome. There are a few that sometimes seem like they don't want to be there. But the majority are great! Rhey call often to check up after procedures and to remind me of appts and I get text and email reminders about appointments. I also used the chat feature once when the dobie had a scab on her foot and they sent links with recommended soft cones that worked well. I am having a great experience overall with Banfield so far!”
“Employees are nice, treatment is professional, work area is clean, approachable vets, good advice.
If the payment plan from any Banfield clinic had affordable dentistry for pets, they'd be unstoppable.”

She was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the personal follow-up with my dog's test results. I have been going to Buckeystown Vet for 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the various DVMs that I and my dogs have had the opportunity to interact with.”

2 E Pennsylvania Ave, Lovettsville“Dr. Leah and her staff are absolutely wonderful! Kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. Our 10 mo. old Frenchie had a rash and they (Maria) squeezed us in for a same day appointment (which was WONDERFUL) and took great care of us. I am very pleased with the service, pricing, and locations close to our home. I will be moving all of our pets over House Paws as their main vet. I would 100% recommend House Paws as a great vet choice for your dog(s). Thank you, Dr. Leah + staff!”
“I've brought both of my pups here, one for stomach issues (which was solved) and one for a follow up paw webbing ripping. Both doctors were kind and offered the best possible treatment for my babies, they also don't charge an arm and a leg!!! Highly recommend.”
“My dog Rodeo injured/tore his CCL. I called many vet offices in the area, and Jefferson came back with a reasonable estimate quote for surgery. Plus, they were able to accommodate him the fastest for a consult. Another vet office couldn't even fit him in for a consult for over two months.
He wasn't a good candidate for surgery due to age and Kidney disease, but I get a monthly pain shot for him. The vet we saw was very helpful and informative. My boy is now able to climb steps on his own and has been managing much better.”
