“This is not the 1st time im using this facility and the reason coming back on the same property is excellent customer service from Property manager Samina. A very warm welcoming environment and very well organized office. It was a hot day but she took her time to show explain and rent the unit which we really liked it. “When I visited to inquire about rental storage units for items in my garage, Singh was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was so patient and answered all of my 101 questions! ? He even showed me the stairs leading to an upstairs unit since I was worried about climbing too many stairs. In the end, I ended up renting a different unit from the facility, but I really appreciated Singh's assistance! If you're looking for storage and don’t require climate control, definitely check them out! ?✨”
“We have kept our travel trailer at Gateway Storage Center in Lorton for 3 years without incident. It is an easy place to get to, via the I-95 or, if coming from Alexandria, via the scenic route along the George Washington Parkway.
The facilities are basic but secure. A video camera at the gate records all incoming and outgoing licence plates, and a card or fob is needed to open the full-height gate. Not only private RV and car owners but also business vans and large trucks use the facility (in separate areas).
"Basic facilities" means johnny-on-the-spot toilets but they are kept clean and supplied with toilet paper. Unfortunately, it also means no water source.
We visited a number of other facilities in the greater D.C., area before deciding this one was the best choice.”

“Wow. Lots to share. Overall great experience! Sales (Ruffino and Brian) are outstanding in terms of knowledge , support, and problem solving. It is because of them that I would buy another boat from HAMS. Service was a mixed experience for us. Our boat was received without some important elements installed (boat cover); responsiveness was sporadic but ultimately all issues and needs were settled. Julien was thorough and very helpful. Robyn in Finance was very easy to work with! Looking forward to many years of connection. We love our Key West and the fish are now very nervous!”

“I first came on 1/2/2025 to see what size storage I would need. I three large boxes of clothes and a few bins that I want to store. I really like the service I received. Then I came again on 1/3/2025 because I realized the size I thought I would need was not enough. I was helped by the Manager (Tama). She was so helpful, professional, and she addressed my biggest worry (safety). I am thankful I was able to find a place close to my house. Overall, the facility is clean and looks nice.”
“Although I have no complaints with the facility or pricing, there was no human help at the Caton Hill facility on a Saturday afternoon, when I went to check in. I managed to check in by phone and found my unit with the help of another customer. I do appreciate that since my initial complaint, they've reached out to explain circumstances for lack of staff that day, so hoping things will be fine moving forward.”

“Overall will definitely be using this U-haul again, this location is super convenient being right off the highway. I do suggest renting your truck ASAP because they are busy busy busy during early spring into summer! They do have a lockbox in case you have to pick up a truck at unreasonable hours. The staff is super chill and nice! ? ?”

“It's extremely rare that I submit reviews, but definitely feel compelled to detail my experience with Bryan's Road Storage, as I prepare to move after providing 30-day notice.
John works at the office near the main gate. He's a great manager. Sometimes you will see him touring the property in a golf cart, keeping an eye on things and doing courtesy-checks. He's a no-nonsense business man, but it's been a pleasure getting to know him over the years. QUICK STORY: A previous tenant had moved out and left a collector's edition train set. While visiting the office one day, John gifted the train to my 11 year old son. Thanks for everything, John!
The prices are extremely competitive (the best I was able to find), with no trickery or huge price-increases months after you move in. I was renting their largest-size unit for years, and only had the occasional $5 annual increase, which is lower than the rate of inflation. Obviously, they care about their long-term tenants and customer service. Perhaps this is why there's usually a waiting list to move-in.
Additionally, I rented a parking space in the back of their very large property, for my utility trailer. --- Absolutely worth the extra 30 minutes of driving to save 100s per month, and be treated so well. --- I have rented storage spaces for 20 years in multiple states.....Bryans Road Storage is my favorite.”
