CVS, a well-known pharmacy chain, has received mixed reviews from customers. While the store is generally clean and offers good sales with a loyalty card, the pharmacy services seem to be a point of concern. Customers have reported long wait times for prescriptions, with one technician, Laura, going the extra mile to assist a customer in an emergency. The automated system for refilling prescriptions has also been criticized as being cumbersome. The store's staffing levels appear to be an issue, with only one register open at times and a lack of pharmacy technicians to handle the workload. Additionally, the vaccine appointment process was described as inconvenient, though the pharmacy technician was helpful in navigating the app. Despite these challenges, the store's rewards program and the availability of prescriptions have been praised by some customers. Overall, CVS seems to be a mixed bag, with room for improvement in its pharmacy operations and customer service.
Pharmacist said it would be a moment, so we said take your time. She proceeded to walk out front and smoke a cigarette. Were not helped until she went back inside 20 minutes later.

Slowest CVS pharmacy in Maryland. I waited 43 minutes for someone to put a tube of ointment in a bag. I get that pharmacies are busy - especially retail pharmacies, but this is complete stupidity.

In other words, I was shorted 20 tablets and the pharmacist made no mention of this to me during consultation.... read full comment
