“Good morning I would definitely say this is my first time coming to your shop and I do have to say honestly I have never ever experienced a high-level of customer service as they demonstrated to me from the beginning all the way to the end with the follow up phone calls, videos, estimates, emails and texts.. “I think they are good at what they do. I had a flat tire, and came here simply by way of a Yelp search with all the positive reviews. I was worried that I would need to replace my tire, but it just needed a plug which cost about $20. When they finally got to me, the guy who worked on my car was efficient and quick. I ended up tipping him because he was really good. I forgot his name unfortunately. The only annoying thing is having to wait and how traffic gets backed up into the street. It was my first time there, so didn't really know what to expect. I waited about 1.5 hours before my car was finally seen, and maybe only spent 15 minutes in there for service. I guess the cost and quickness of the service offset the long wait time. I would definitely come back though in the future and try to come during less busy times like early in the morning or later in the evening.”

They won't do unnecessary work, just to charge you more, and they'll let you know what costs may come up, so you aren't surprised when you show up to pick the vehicle up. Everyone who works there has been nice, and if someone isn't at the desk when you walk in, it won't take long for someone to come and help you. This is my go-to auto shop.”

This was a situation where they couldn't get confirmation of the mistake and they gave me the benefit of the doubt nonetheless. Capitol Hill Auto has provided routine maintenance and repairs for three different types of cars, both foreign and domestic. The prices are very reasonable.It is a small shop with a dedicated client base. As such, they are usually busy. This isn’t a spot for one hour oil changes. If you’re able to give them 24 hours to complete their work, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Edit - 2 months later I have taken my wife's van and my own car back for some valve stem issues. All I can say is you don't find service like this anywhere around here. This is old school customer service. They genuinely care and you are not a number.You can take your car to NTB, pay a premium, get told about all these things you need to fix on your car, then have to wait day for you car to get tires (because your appointment means nothing) OR you can come here during your hour lunch break and be in and out. I'll choose the latter every time. ;)”

“Efficient, honest, well run establishment! I found Boteler Automotive on Yelp after all the warning lights on my 2018 Honda CRV's dash started cycling like a Christmas display in Times Square. I prayed and took it to the dealership and the diagnostic report relayed that I basically needed an engine transplant. Well, I'm going through a lot and it's a miracle that I've been able to maintain this vehicle, I'm being held together by God's grace and Scotch tape. I called and spoke to Ray and he said to bring it down. After confirming some suspicions, he and "Mac Dadddy" Lindsay came up with a solid treatment plan to hopefully resolve the issue. If I have to move forward with the repairs, I trust that Boteler Automotive will do right by me. I thank God for blessing me with wisdom and guidance. I know He will provide me the resources to continue the maintenance on this vehicle or bless me with what He wants me to have. If you need a trustworthy mechanic, this is the place to go!”

“We have been long-time Hill residents and used Distads as our car repair shop for many years. Since it has changed hands, we have had two very positive experiences with the new team. Before the holidays, they took care of a few repairs for an older van that we were selling, with a quick turnaround time and reasonable prices. Today, I called in the morning to have a nail removed from my tire and a plug put in. They told me to come on in, and when I arrived, these repairs were handled right away--and no charge! Drove my past vehicle here with hopes that it would make it here without breaking down lol Mike & Luis were extremely helpful and REALISTIC with me considering my situation. They asked me what I wanted and I got exactly that… customer service was superb!!!! They really worked with me and Mike is just an outstanding manager if you come here ask for him. I see there are some bad reviews but don’t let that deter you from shopping here just ask for Mike he will not sugar coat anything and will give you the real deal. I did not at all expect to be driving off the lot with anything that day… I got rid of my Kia and got into a nice reliable Buick Verano and even the manager drives a Buick lol this experience was BEYOND sales service I felt like family.
