The CVS in Glen Burnie is a busy pharmacy and retail store offering prescriptions, vaccinations, personal care items, and more, with services like same-day delivery and in-store pickup. It aims to provide reliable value and fit busy schedules, being open seven days a week. Customer experiences with the staff and pharmacy have been mixed. Many reviews describe the staff as friendly, nice, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful. Specific praise highlights certain individuals as gems, with great customer service, making people feel comfortable. There is appreciation for recent improvements, noting new pharmacy staff have better attitudes, decreased wait times, and answer calls more promptly. However, significant criticisms persist. The pharmacy has been described as truly rough, with past issues of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from one pharmacist. Problems included extremely long lines, very slow service, and consistently long phone hold times where no one answered. One incident involved a manager yelling horribly at a cashier in front of customers, which was seen as unprofessional. While drive-through service has been good, the pharmacy phone often goes unanswered for extended periods, up to 50 minutes. The store remains one of the busiest pharmacies, requiring certain trained staff to manage the atmosphere. Some customers advocate for more patience and decency toward the staff, who are human and often handling a high volume of work.
