18645 N Frederick Ave, GaithersburgI used to take my dog here decades ago when I was a teenager. I’ve brought one of my dogs in for her vaccinations and bloodwork and everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr. Strome was really gentle with my Freya and took care of her like she was one of her own.
I’ve been to many vets but this one has been the best.

Best Friends' Veterinary Hospital
7600 Lindbergh Dr suite h, GaithersburgThe veterinarian was super nice and loved my ball pythons. The lobby is also really cool looking they have several fish tanks. They seem to really care a lot about the animals and live their work.
Edit: This is one of the closest places near Frederick that accepts treatment on snakes. Also this veterinary office tries to make sure your animal is living in the right environment and gets the correct and needed nutrients or equipment. I might switch all my animals here even though it’s a long drive.

9033 Gaither Rd, GaithersburgThis is an excellent vet clinic! I can’t recommend them enough. They have taken good care of our puppy and the staff is all excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and they always remember our pup and her quirks. They got her in same day when she had an ear infection. They were also super helpful when she was having some pain/discomfort after her spay and gave her a different medication which is working well for her. Overall, very responsive and helpful clinic. We look forward to continuing to take our pup here.

I went with my best friend and her English Bulldog, for a check up and just to find a new veterinarian for her beloved Fatboy. Dr. Carrier and Ryan (Vet Tech) were exceptional!!! Compassionate, caring, and you can truly tell they are in this profession for the animals. 14426 Turkey Foot Rd, GaithersburgVisiting Dr. Nave Dhillon and his assistant Renee's practice is a slice out of James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small." They provide the same humane, practical, reasonable care that keeps fostering and fur-baby family-members affordable. Our 13-year cat Opie had a chipmunk cheek one day last month, which turned out to be an abscess caused by a rotten tooth. Our local vet charged us $600 for bloodwork, antibiotic, and a rabies shot, then offered to sort out the teeth for $1,200-2,000. I checked with Turkey Foot; Renee was able to work Opie in within the week for a quarter of the cost, and our little guy has been back to normal ever since. Dr. Dhillon treats animals that others won't touch, such as a feral cat I trapped, who was so wild that he needed to be anesthetized in a cage before he could be neutered. They really listen to my concerns and provide thorough answers and after-care check-ins. I particularly appreciate that Renee texted a picture of Opie recovering after surgery.

My cat, Kira, can be a bit finicky and fearful, so I was nervous about leaving her for a weekend trip. I found Erica from Wags to Whiskers, through a web search, and was very excited that she serviced the Kentlands. During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira’s favorite toys, and where she might hide.
When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full.
Erica’s reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don’t have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners as Eric cares for Kira as if she were her own! And that is hard to find!

GaithersburgI've always had a wonderfully experience with Wagnificent and Courtney! We've used them for years and have trusted them with each and every one of our pets. We have a few skittish kitties and they always make the extra effort to make them feel loved and comfortable. They are also super communicative and keep us in the loop throughout their visits. We are always nervous to travel without our pets, but Wagnificent takes a lot of the stress out of the process and we always know our kitties are in great hands.

9204 Gaither Rd, GaithersburgWow, just wow!!! I had an unthinkable request on a Friday afternoon. To have a custom 3 tier cake for 80ppl to be ready by the following Tuesday. When I called the Gaithersburg location, I spoke to a very friendly girl named Naomi, who asked that I send over an email with creative ideas and she would get back to me. Within the hour, she explained that my request could be done and to come into the shop later so we could talked details. When I arrived to the store, Naomi wasn’t available but I was able to work with another associate Tina. Tina was AMAZING. She was patient, detail-oriented, any question or design idea I had she took the time to go and ask the baker to make sure it could be done. On Tuesday, the last minute cake was delivered on time and was a hit. Probably one of the best cakes I’ve had in A LONG TIME!!! Classic Bakery, you will forever have my business!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this happen!!!

We ordered everything with "medium" spice level and found that some of the dishes were a little too mild. The curries and saag paneer had wonderful flavor, however. At the end, we were served a complimentary dessert - a small (just-right) serving of rice kheer. Lovely way to end a delicious meal!
