9 Margaret Ave, EssexOMG, first time going to Walt's Woof Pack today and I am so impressed! My doodle was treated so poorly by her first groomer and within minutes of showing up at Walt's I felt immediately better. Everyone was so kind, Tom was great, he asked questions about Sandy, like they actually cared about getting to know her and making sure she had a great experience. The haircut was exactly what I wanted and trust me, they had quite the canvas to fix after the job before them! They don't use cages, Sandy was in and out so quickly, and they updated me along the way which helped so much with my schedule as well! Arie took great care of her and made her beautiful! She was so clean, so soft and the cut was perfect. I will definitely be going back and I would recommend Walt's Woof Pack to an doggie parent! Thank you so much Tom and Arie!!

203 Nanticoke Rd, Essex“The Crazy Tuna Bar & Grille to close: 'Essex is truly losing a gem' By Kendyl Kearly October 17, 2024 at 1:22 PM ET The Crazy Tuna Bar & Grille is set to close after Saturday, the Essex restaurant announced Thursday on social media. The waterfront restaurant is known for its beachy atmosphere, complete with sand beneath the picnic tables; seafood dishes; and live music that could be heard from boats docked nearby. The Crazy Tuna wrote that there isn’t “just one reason” for the decision to close and advocated the community for the hiring of staff who must now find other jobs. “Essex is truly losing a gem here,” said manager Ashley Schap, who’s worked at The Crazy Tuna for eight years. She said staff heard the news last week and that she’d been expecting to work there for at least six more years, through the end of the restaurant’s lease. “This is my livelihood,” Schap said.”

2015 Turkey Point Rd, EssexBabe and I were taking a nice Sunday ride and found ourselves in Essex MD. We hit up Yelp, and this spot had great reviews so we decided to check them out. We came on a Sunday which was perfect because It was not crowded at all and the vibes were calm. The ambiance is cute and chill, with comfy seating inside and out. The building is basically a transformed garage with quirky touches. I liked how they gave us a cup of gold fish to snack on as we looked over the menu and made our decisions The food and service was 10/10. Things we tried: Street Corn ($12) Bang Bang Shrimp ($17) (6pcs) Cheeseburger ($17) Old Bay Crab Burger ($19) The street corn was good and different. It was covered in Cool Ranch Doritos chips, which I had never I had before and will definitely be getting It again. The Bang Bang shrimp was nice and crispy. The batter to shrimp ratio was very good. Last but not Least, the burgers were banging! Nice and juice and cooked right just to the temperature you like. They have two nicely lit patios and I can't wait to come back and check them out for the winter time.
