“On more than one occasion I've had the pleasure of dealing with the same employee each time. This gentleman stayed late waiting for me the first time and the second time he was busy and alone. Yet each time he was very professional and courteous. Ernest Galloway is his name and I am here today and yet again Ernest is here and alone. Still the same calm , collected and professional person as each time before. Amazing customer service Ernest. You should be recognized !!!!!”

“The checking process was simple and quick. The pickup service made things super easy and helpful. However the return process was slow. Only one young lady in the office she was cleaning, showing cars and zipping around. This facility is short staffed on a day with extreme weather conditions.”

“Great service, attentive staff, good pricing, reasonable wait. I came in for an oil change and was checked in by a charming gentleman named Walter, who directed me inside to the very helpful service advisors and then I got to relax in the lounge while waiting for my vehicle. It didn't take long until it was pulled right out front for me. Great experience”

“I had a wonderful experience with this location.
I was very pressed for time and arrived before opening (to ensure that I would be 1st customer). The team there, especially Kyle, was able to expedite my processing and get me on the road in time to make my appointment. His professionalism, courtesy, and friendly nature was a welcome relief in an environment where most customer service is dead!

Thanks and good job Kyle and Enterprise!”

“I visited as part of a Budget rental. Still, the staff was great. Also, when I picked up the car, it had a TPMS warning, and trading it for another car was quick and easy.”

“Picked up a long-term rental today. The entire process was quick and easy. Forgot the name of the Owner, but he was a pleasure to interact/deal with and was very accommodating when it came time to answer the few questions I had.I had to swap out the original vehicle because of pet hair (and I'm highly allergic), but again, the Owner was VERY accommodating, couldn't stop apologizing for the oversight and got me into a better, cleaner vehicle with no issue/complaint and rather quickly. (That's the only reason for the 4-star. Wish I could have rated a 4.5 or even a 4.75!)This location is a bit of a drive to get to, but based on this 1st interaction, I am more than willing to take the journey especially when dealing with the high-level of excellent customer service!”

“Possibly the best customer service I've ever experienced. We were given an EV by surprise from another Hertz location for a trip that had no access to EV chargers. For days we contacted every Hertz in the area to find a hybrid or a gas-powered car to no avail but Michael took care of us. He was incredibly professional and understanding of the situation. He and replaced the car and saved our trip. Thank you Michael!”

“A couple of years ago we had a very bad experience with zipcar. We went out of way to get a pickup truck at two different locations and waited around. We called customer service and the ppl that had it said they would be back soon but wasn't and the rep honked the car twice and finally they stopped answering. Customer service promised they would reimburse us if we got a U haul which we did and then we got a huge runaround every time we called to get reimbursed or went in to their office in mount Vernon. So we were done and canceled our membership. Then Avis bought them and I found myself in need of a car to get around in the city from time to time. If there was another competitor I would have gladly used them instead but they are the only game in town and my university subsidizes my membership. They are expanding now and i see zipcar stations popping up all the time. I use zipcar a whole bunch these days to get around to appointments. Rates and car availability are good by where I live. I've had very few problems. Once the driver before me was late 10 mins and I had to wait a few mins. Didn't know whether they were charged the late fee but it did enfringe upon my Rez. I always time my Rez for the most bang for my buck. I constantly take advantage of the fact that I can get the car 14 mins early if no one has it before me and I always return the car 15 mins early so I don't get dinged for the late fee. There have been a few times where I've had to extend 30 mins to an hour via text because my appt was running late. Sometimes there were system glitches where I've had to call in to extend it even tho there is not a person right after me. There was a time where i couldn't depress the parking brake and they switched me out to another car. There was another time when I took a different zipcar than the one i reserved because it was 6 in the morning and I was groggy and they didn't notice until an hour later and switched my Rez. I was surprised I was able to unlock a vehicle I didn't have a Rez for. These are pretty minor things and I've been happy with zipcar but it is pretty stressful if you are running late and don't know if ur car is available for extension. I would also say it also sucks that if there is an issue like gas or Trouble with a parking brake it sucks into your time. They should at least compensate you with a 15 min credit or something. I'll admit that I'm a bad zipper due to this so I'm always in a hurry so I've never refilled the tank ever. Incentives would really help in this area. I would say as long as it's relatively uneventful everything should be fine and it has been. I think if there would be a major issue, they would totally suck. The terms if you get into an accident are really bad and I imagine it would be a major hassle to settle with them and your insurance or credit card company.”

“Visiting from out of town and my first Zipcar experience in DC area. The instructions to find the car are pretty detailed. App makes it very easy to make reservations. I did have trouble booking a one way trip so ended doing a round trip instead. I also couldn't figure out how to give the car to valet since I had to lock it. Other than that, it was convenient, easy and gave me a car for a half day to run errands. Very helpful to have in the city”
