“My corgi has epilepsy, very bad seizures. Dr. Roller was very hesitant to perform a dental cleaning on him because his seizures are so bad. We put it off for a long time until he got an access and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Roller finally agreed to do the dental cleaning for him. The staff was amazing and kept me updated throughout the process. He is now doing great and is out of pain thanks to Dr Roller and her staff. I am so grateful to them for helping my boy.”

“Changing long term veterinary is difficult until you align when services declined to the date they were puchased. Bay Ridge is the last Annapolis vet practice which services are NOT directly tied to a paycheck, bonus incentives, and employee retention. Vet practices have been gobbled up by hedge funds which has evolved pet rescue into being rebranded as owning a luxury item. After encountering poor service for my boy Hammer, I did a deep dive into vet ownership to find the root of the problem. My heart sank from what I learned. I was prepared that my two dogs were going to be my last rescues. Then I remembered Dr Rudd from decades ago that left Annapolis. She is the most knowledgeable, ethical, and effective listener I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I looked for her and studied the corporate make up of Bay Ridge and was pleased she had returned to Annapolis. My boy Hammer suffered for months as he was processed through corporate veterinary practices that up sale over listening. If your wait time is less than 15 minutes, your Vet maybe answering to the corporate metrics of average ticket price, clients processing time, weighing legal liability over compassion, which are all tied to employee reviews/pay/retention. Bay Ridge's excellent service demostrates they still have a voice in their practice. Hammer is glad that Dr. Rudd is back at Bay Ridge she is still the same highly skilled diagnostician, ethical, compassionate, and effective listener that I met decades ago.”
“I wish I had doctors that cared for me as much as our dogs vets do. The facility and all of the staff are stellar. They take the time to listen, care and offer guidance and allow you to ask questions without feeling foolish for doing so. You are not rushed in or out of the office. In fact the vet has checked up on our dog on more than one occasion what I consider after hours. Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is. Rest assured that you are in good hands. “Our 8 month Newfoundland required an life saving emergency surgery.
On a Friday afternoon, out of time and options.
SRAH stepped up and completed the surgery.
Not to many places will close their doors, reschedule appointments and complete a surgery on a Friday afternoon.

“My dog, who was terrified by vet offices, loved the staff. She would panic until she saw the vets. She loved the African American vet, which i unfortunately didn't get her name in my panic, while my pup was in distress. But she made us both feel better in the middle of a terminal event. And then she and the entire staff sent me a card to check on my pup. She didn't survive, but the support meant everything when losing my nanny.
Ps. That last vet was the first in 12 years to make my pup feel comfy in the office cause she experienced parvo as a pup and vets were scary until she met this beautiful lady. In 13 years, she let 1 vet give her a treat and it was this lady. Please come to this clinic.”
“The Animal Dental Center in Annapolis is a first class operation. The prices are steep but they are upfront about their prices and you certainly get what you pay for.”
“By far the best vet I have been to. Not only did they do amazing work with my golden retriever but when I needed to bring my older dog that hates the vet they worked with me to get him sedated and get all the work done he needed in one go. The only reason we stopped going was because I had to move for work and Dr. Hamilton and her staff are the only thing that I miss about the area.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place and everyone who works there. My mom took her dog to another vet who she LOVED in Annapolis and I really wanted to go there. Unfortunately, they weren't taking new clients at the time. A friend recommended Dr. Thomas/VCA, so we gave that a shot. She didn't have anything open at the time, so they booked me with another vet but then called be back the next day to let me know Dr. Thomas had an opening.. and the rest is history.
My labradoodle has a minor heart murmur as well as the world's most sensitive stomach and wildest allergies (with a very anxious dog dad, to boot..). Dr. Thomas has been amazing through it all. Brody and I would seriously follow her into a fire. She is so good at what she does... so thorough, always answers my (sometimes probably very annoying) questions and remembers every. single. detail. The entire staff is truly just the BEST! Like ... my ... dog ... loves going to the vet. That's how great they are!
And definitely do Care Club - it's so worth the $$ -- I'd pay for it just for the texting/live chat...

The staff at reception are very helpful in making appointments especially if there is an emergency. I have seen all the veterinarians at this location and feel the quality of care is high. When my family has had to use their euthanasia service for our 3 elder cats dying of kidney failure, the doctors and staff are very kind and comforting.”
