“I arrived early so I could take care of some personal matters online before my appointment but mostly to ensure I was not going to be late for my appointment. The waiting room was so welcoming with the interior design and I was very comfortable working. It was also clean, making my personal work easy to focus on until my appointment.
Sharae is a professional and very skilled at her work. She made me feel comfortable and I barely felt the needle. I can speak with some authority about this because I've had my blood drawn numerous times in my nearly 69 years and over half of those blood draws were awful. So I hope you value and appreciate her because she's the employee your company needs.”

“Beware of billing!!

I visited Elite Urgent Care in January of 2024, and must warn you that while the medical care that was provided was very professional, you will be blindsided with an unexpected bill weeks or months after your visit.

Regarding strictly the day of visit experience, the waiting room and patient examination rooms are very clean and well kept, the “front of house” reception staff is very polite, the wait time was reasonable, and the doctor provided adequate and professional care.

What soured my experience with Elite Urgent care, however, was their unforthcoming billing practice. At the time of the visit, after filling out all necessary new patient forms, and providing and verifying that the visit was covered though my insurance provider, the front desk staff confirmed that per my insurance coverage all that would be due for the visit was a $50 copay. I then remitted payment before seeing the doctor. Again when leaving after the examination was completed, I confirmed with the staff that payment had been completed and no additional charges would be applied.

Then, months later I received an invoice from Elite Urgent Care for $115.

The phone number that the invoice directs you to call in the case of billing questions is their office telephone number, which is apparently not the appropriate number to call with billing questions.

To add insult to injury, after going back and forth attempting to reach the billing department in order to find out where the disconnect was between being told that the copay had settled the visit cost, and then receiving an unexpected invoice, I received an second notice in the mail with an added “late charge” added.

If clear cut expectations for cost and billing are not important to you, I can say that the care provided was sufficient. Otherwise, I may recommend Patient First, or Teledoc.

UPDATE :

After receiving a call from Elite Urgent Care’s billing department, billing specifics were clarified, and billing was adjusted to be more in line with what the expectations were as set by office staff on day of visit.

I commend Elite Urgent Care for their response to this issue.

In particular, Jennifer with the billing department was very thorough and professional in her assistance.”

“Busy lab but the line moves along. It is a walk in so no appointments. Did not feel them taking the numerous vials of blood...a first for me! Usually they get it on the second or third try. Very nice personnel.”

“I passed out pretty much immediately after my blood draw this morning and the staff could not have been more helpful, empathetic, patient, and kind. 10/10 would pass out here again. I wish I could remember the phlebotomists' names so I could give them the full credit they deserve.”

“Had a test here last week, arrived early and checked in, they called me right away. Very thorough and had a nice conversation with the tech. I get a lot of blood draws and while my typical in network is another brand this appointment and Quest in general were great!

EDIT: Since this visit I have come 2 other times and both experiences were great. On top of that, just happy I can buy my own bloodwork, in one case one of the test eliminated the need for me to follow up with a doctor on a suspected issue, and another was able to demonstrate to my doctor that an issue WAS occurring. Self-agency in healthcare is a massive thing to have.”

“This is for the self service look. I have been on the regular lane in the past and had a great experience as well. The self service kiosk is located on the side of the building towards the exit. Come prepared with your tag number and last four digit of your VIN number. Credit card payment only. I’ll suggest you locate your car OBDII connection socket before coming as well to save time. You will most probably need to get on your knees to plus the device into your car.The instructions are fairly easy to understand and follow. Do not forget to take your print out before driving off. Good luck!”

“This afternoon, I had an appointment at LabCorp for a blood draw, and overall, I was very pleased with the experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I didn't have to wait long to be seen.

The phlebotomist was skilled and gentle, making the blood draw process almost painless. They took the time to ensure I was comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly. The facility was clean and well-maintained, which added to the positive experience.

I appreciate the professionalism and care shown by the LabCorp team and would definitely recommend their services to others.”
