The class was challenging (which is something I look for) That being said, the instructor was encouraging of everyone. He taught modifications and helped ALL achieve their goals for the session. All body types (ethnicities, whatevah ?) are safe to get their sweat on here! Can’t wait to go back ??”

“The Colosseum is a true gym. This gym is for you if you want to stop talking about getting in better shape and just execute. If you want to take a selfie in the mirror and post it on social media, sip a cup of espresso, and get a massage just go to another gym in Columbia. If you want a serious gym that's serious about your development I promise your in the right place.The personal training is old school. Josh Flemenbaum is my trainer and I actually look forward to my workouts. He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries and is extremely reliable & punctual. The strength development is intense. The best way for me to describe it is comparing the training to the Batman vs. Superman movie in the scene when Bruce is training to fight Superman. If you haven't seen the movie just Google Bruce Wayne training vs. Superman and watch it. This is old school training using the sledge hammer to the tire, power sled, and battle ropes, yeah that's the kind of training you get from Josh who will devote and develop you into a better version of yourself. Tim the owner is who recommended Josh for my personal training and I'm truly grateful because I've never felt better in my life.If you wanna come to a gym where you don't feel judged and want to get into the best shape of your life come check Colosseum out.”

I only wanted to prevent injuries so I could participate in a 12 mile run with friends, but the results far exceeded my expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable and uses advanced software, film, and his expertise to identify exactly what is causing problems or limiting progress. Couldn’t more highly recommend the Endurance Factory. Great culture and facilities, if I lived closer I’d be there a lot more.”

Charmaine and Rod (the owners) are often onsite and teach many of the classes and private sessions themselves. They and the rest of the staff are wonderful! When I started, everyone (including other clients) was nonjudgmental and encouraging. Hearing "You did great, please come back!" was more motivating than I could have imagined, and I'm still here! They make the work lots of fun with laughter, encouragement, and acceptance of all shapes and sizes. Charmaine still keeps me motivated, and thanks much to her I'm now more fit and healthy than I was 15 years ago. Come join us - you'll be glad you did. Lots of exercise options; lots of fun!”

It's called boot camp, but it's a low threat environment that can take you to the next level if you pit in the effort. Otherwise, just a plain good workout. Lots of fitness diversity, zero shame, all supportive.”

I like the gym because the trainers know what they’re talking about and you can see results as both of my boys are having amazing seasons in JV and varsity. It’s a friendly atmosphere with real accountability to work hard and hustle. We will be coming back to MaxxFit for the off-season work out.”

And we so enjoy the others who workout there also. There is a healthy, positive culture there, and that’s so important. Wellness for Life is truly a gem.”

Relatively new to solely weight training, I was nervous about the gym, but found the environment to be very friendly and welcoming. I wish I had found them sooner!”

“This studio and particularly Lisa is absolutely fantastic. I’ve been a client for over 10 years and can honestly say this is the best training experience I’ve seen or experienced. The approach to total health and movement is refreshing and Lisa’s ability to navigate in person and virtual settings across multiple clients of diverse backgrounds is incredible. You get a tailored approach to exercise including strength, movement, nutrition, etc at all ages and medical backgrounds and fitness levels. She’s able to do virtual and in person sessions and is extremely cost effective. I’ve learned so much about how to appropriately move and handle my body while building strength and flexibility and getting tailored plans that suit my schedule. She’s flexible and personal and the studio offers so much for so many people - I highly recommend.”
“I have been an employee at this gym for over two years and a member for six. The gym has everything I need for my workouts including cardio machines, free weights, and accessories. I love that the space is smaller because it makes me feel less intimidated and it is never crowded. Other members are very friendly and welcoming, creating a safe environment for all. “Went skating and it was great. Lights and music where fun. Compliants are just they didn't have anyone regulating the rule about skating in the same direction. Most people were following it, but not everyone, which made skating a little dicey as it got crowded. Also the music was not always appropriate for children.”

The parking lot is pretty big with lots of spaces conveniently close to PF. I like that you can check on the app to see how crowded they are. I try to come during off peak hours. This morning g when I came it wasn't busy. I checked in a got to use all the equipment that I desired without waiting. 45 minutes.”
“We booked a private session for our 15 year old son and his 3 friends as a birthday gift. The owner Kwame and all the staff were awesome to work with. They gave us a tour of the facility in advance and went over all the safety equipment. The day of the session they started with a lesson to go over basic punches and footwork. After a bit of practice and drilling they got in the ring for a mini tournament. Kwame was an awesome and charismatic teacher and the guys had a great time. We highly recommend this facility!”

The energy drinks they sell are expensive as hell. Thank god I can take one step out the door, look right, and see a Wawa 200 yards away.
Not always the cleanest so expect the bathrooms to be subpar. Actually subpar is an overstatement. The men’s room is atrocious. Grown men will use the bathroom and then they won’t flush after. DISGUSTING!
Most people don’t wipe down equipment after they use it and there’s 2 reasons for that:
1. They see their next exercise machine open so they just get up and leave.
2. They could care less about the next person coming to use it.
Evenings are a living hell. I fought Darkside once… over who’s turn it was to use the Smithing Machine! (He was definitely wrong).
People don’t rack the dumbbells back. There is 2 pairs of 20lbs dumbbells. 1st pair was being used by someone and the 2nd pair wasn’t even a real pair. It was missing one dumbbell. Well I decided to go on an adventure for the missing 20lbs dumbbell. Any takes on where it was? Near a smithing machine that wasn’t actively being used.
The roof is also leaking. Mainly near 2 Smithing Machines. You better pray to god that the droplets don’t get you during a Hip Thrust set.
Also people tend to use 2 cable machines at “the same time,” which Im not really against because I know some people actually believe super sets work. But if you are resting between sets, why can’t I work in while you rest? You know the gym busy. I know it’s busy. You know, I know, you know it’s busy. Yet you aren’t going to give me an opportunity to workout?
People will walk into the gym, get on a machine, do ONE SET and then sit there for the next 40 mins scrolling on Tiktok or Facebook.
Ive been going here for almost 2 years and it’s been issue after issue that always seems to throw me off my ball while I workout. It’s actually ridiculous.
Wait, what? You said why did I give it 5 stars then? Because this Planet Fitness truly knows what it means to be a public gym. I mean this gym is the epitome of public gyms. It’s so bad, that it’s actually good.
P.S. if you are thinking about joining PF don’t do this one. Please for the love of god we don’t need more members here.”

“We'll run place. Everything looks clean and in order. The staff is young but surprisingly friendly. The people tend to camp out at the machine they're using and that makes it unavailable to anyone else who wants to use it.”
