“The other morning I was getting air in my tires at Highs and an employee named Eddie walked by sweeping the parking lot and asked if I was OK and made small talk. He left but then came back out when he noticed I was out there for several minutes. The machine wasn’t correctly filling my tires, and he figured something was wrong.He had a small stuffed cow toy for my 3 year old son to keep him occupied. When he realized their machine wasn’t working, he sent me across the street and said the guys would take care of me and fill my tires. I appreciate Eddie for looking out for us and even sending us to another business across the street.”

“My go to place for gas and food! They have a wide variety of delicious made to order food, an appealing rewards program with great offers and deals, and good customer service!
I've had their breakfast, burgers, salads, and sides; they're all tasty! Using the rewards program is very convenient; you're able to scan your phone at the self checkout AND at the pumps using the app. Any time I've had issues or questions, the workers helped me out with ease.”
“Stopped here for a breakfast sandwich and coffee the morning after an overnight stay at nearby Lockhouse 28 while biking the C&O Canal Towpath trail. Not the safest route from the trail to the deli due to a stretch of on-the-road biking with little to no shoulder, so be alert. Otherwise, the ready-made bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich I had was tasty, warm, a nd satisfying, especially when paired with a cup of fresh hot coffee. A variety of convenience store items to purchase as well (drinks, chips, snacks, etc.).”

“I love sheets for quick bites to eat and gas. I love their breakfast sandwiches and their other food is good as well, but the breakfast sandwich is by far, my favorite. They also have everything else you would find at a gas station convenience store.”

Always get a wonderful greeting anytime I stop in here. Parking lot clean and all gas pumps have window wash cleaner(that is clean).”
“Love this place it's a quick place to get gas it's also a quick place to get your cigarettes some groceries they sell soda ice cream chips and beer The only thing they don't sell the cigars they also have a little printing thing in the back or you can have anything printed on a shirt printing on a drop ceiling tile they print on anything for that matter so I would highly recommend this place to anybody that needs gas or need some groceries Yes their prices may be a little high but they're not bad at all The staff are so great here Love this place”

“Julie was rather kind and sweet made my order of Pulled Chicken Sandwich just the way I wanted. Not dry, good balance of chicken and bacon and the other condiments and toppings. She made sure to ask if we wanted the sandwich cut or not. You could tell she tries her best to provide good customer service. Will be coming back for some bomb Pulled Chicken Sandwiches!”

“The fried chicken at Dickerson Market, at least the thighs that we had, is as great as I've been hearing for years! Sure, the market doesn't have much in the way of vegetables, but that wasn't why we finally stopped there during a leisurely drive up route 28 that included little 30mph (watch your speed!) Dickerson. We were there for their justifiably famous chicken. The thighs were crisp and so juicy even though we got them from the warmer, so I can only imagine how they'll be when we order ahead next time. The first bite gave a delicious hit of salty (but not too salty) chicken juice that threatened to run down our hands in the car where we were eating since there is no seating in the market, so we'll be sure to have plenty of napkins the next time we're in Dickerson. Oh yeah, great service from nice people.”
“My husband and I use their postal service for our small family business and Billy (I think he's the one that had/has the pony tail) is the most helpful and frequently greets us with a smile and patience. He's knowledgeable in keeping us updated with changes. I love the upgrade with the park lighting and the wine selection.

“My husband and I love to go to this location for coffee. It's very convenient and all the staff is very pleasant. Recently, I've noticed that the coffee containers are not getting cleaned as frequent, which affects the taste of the coffee. Please don't slack on the cleanliness. Have a place for truckers to pull over and a lot of them seem to be using it as this is a fantastic spot

“Honestly, the CLEANEST, NICEST most ORGANIZED 7-11 I have EVER been in my entire life! The cups, the straws all so VERY EASY LABELED, all easy to find! The food stations, isles, EVERYTHING was so clean and to perfection! The people are very friendly and I will go out of my way to hit this 7-11 when I need. Also, wanted to note, I have NEVER like the soda machines that all share one spout... it never tastes like what you pick. I guess they keep the spout super clean too, cause the coke was great... and I have never enjoyed a coke from a shared spout!... IF you know you know ;-) ! KEEP up the GOOD WORK!”

“A wonderful place I use to get beer late at night. No I'm not an alcoholic, but my week tends to end very early on Friday mornings. So as long as I'm there before 2am I'll get myself a 6 pack of Flying Dog. To celebrate the end of the work week. Folk here are friendly, though they are often doing anything and everything they can to stop themselves falling asleep. Apart from that they stock the best beer in the area. (Flying Dog) they have a great selection of snacks to go with. Sometimes better than Giant down the road. Win win!”

“I stopped at the Buckeystown market on Saturday morning, November 3rd, because I couldn't find my destination, and was running out of gas. When I went in to pay for the gas, I realized I had left my wallet at home! A triple wammy!. The counter clerk, who I believe was Henry, gave me $2.00 out of his tip jar! And said he did not want me to pay him back. And he helped me find my destination on a map. Luckily it was not too far from there. I came back at the end of the day with money to pay him back. I would like to contact the manager or owner to relay this kind act by one of his employees, but the phone number listed above is not in service. Ted Farrand”
