1202 Kennedy St NW, Washington“We’ve had a wonderful experience with Bright Start Daycare. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about the children. They offer a diverse range of activities that keep my daughter engaged and learning. One of the highlights is their balanced menu, which ensures she gets nutritious meals every day. I also really appreciate the amount of outside time she gets. I highly recommend Bright Start to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.”

910 7th St SW, Washington“Our son attended the toddler program here for 6 months and we were so pleased with the care the school provided to him! He started attending here at 14 months old and we saw large improvements in his development, speech and social skills. The teachers, staff and managers are all very welcoming and caring. We dropped our son off everyday feeling good about his safety, the care, and the education he was being given. We were sad to have to leave the school, but are moving out of the area and thus had to part ways. Highly recommend this daycare!”

7900 Oxman Rd #2759, Landover“My child has attended this daycare for 4 years and our experience has been a great one. As a parent, I can tell that the staff/teachers take a personal interest in ensuring that your child succeeds and really learns what is being taught. This center is also (financially) a great value for the quality of education and attention that your child receives, compared to other centers in the area.I have referred/recommended others to the center and will continue to do so in the future.”

1849 C St NW MS 1011, Washington“We absolutely love Fingerprints, and we know our toddler does too. He learns so much from the creative and age-tailored activities (we love seeing the cool things he does on the app!), he has so much fun playing with friends and on the courtyard playground, and he simply adores his teachers. From Ms. Tabithia and Ms. Judy and Ms. Kayla in infants, to Ms. Monica, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Gabie, and Ms. Destiny in toddlers, he loves his teachers like family, and so do we! We have the piece of mind that he is with attentive, warm, fun, and energetic teachers and caretakers all day, and bringing home all these new skills and milestones to boot.”

801 University Blvd W, Silver Spring“We have been so happy with 4CCN since our son started attending in 2022. The leadership, teachers, and staff are caring and warm, and the community is wonderful. It’s not only one of the most affordable options in the area but in my opinion among the best quality too. Highly recommend.”
“My daughter absolutely loves this place and has learned so much since she started. I would suggest you check this school out if you are looking for an amazing learning space for your child ?”
“We can’t say enough good things about Primrose at the Parks. The staff and all the teachers are caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Our daughter has moved up through the school since she was a young infant. In all of her classrooms, the teachers have provided an exceptional level of care. They make sure our daughter is loved and actively learning while we are at work. The staff is accessible and communicative. They listen to parents’ needs, answer questions, and are quickly responsive to concerns. Our daughter is excited to go to school. She is thriving. Her development has accelerated in the almost year we’ve been at Primrose. Finding great childcare is one of the most difficult and important decisions parents have to make. We would choose Primrose at the Parks over and over again.Edit June 27 2023: We're still very happy with the care our child receives, but we do have one gripe to convey. Resolving payment conflicts is unnecessarily difficult. The school was closed for a week last winter (Dec 2022), and it was not initially announced as part of the school year. We had to arrange alternate care on relatively short notice, and we were not pro-rated for that week. Additionally, our child moved to a larger class (more students per teacher) recently, which decreases the monthly fee. However, this occurred mid-month, and it was again not automatically pro-rated.”
7:30AM - 5:30PM
5331 Colorado Ave NW, Washington“We had our son in pre-K here during the pandemic, and our daughter in the program Estrellitas started to enable kids to do remote learning with supervision. Our kids learned a ton of Spanish, and did art, games, walks in the woods, field trips, and playgrounds throughout the pandemic. Their staff is incredibly committed and hard-working, and showed up to help our kids throughout the pandemic when other people did not. I would recommend the program to anyone, and will definitely have my kids back for their summer program and school breaks.”
“We had an amazing experience with kiddie academy, specifically for our son’s time in the Anglefish room from 3-6 months. The caregivers were communicative, loving, and engaged. Iris is particularly amazing always taking time to talk to us and tell us about our son’s day. She is truly part of what made our experience so positive. The other teachers Brenda, Mercedes, and Ruth are also amazing. Drop off is so much easier knowing your kid is in caring hands. Our experience with kiddie academy has been amazing because of these ladies.”
“I love this place. The teachers are very nice, and the director. They took my child in, when he was 3years old, and now he is 7 years old. They teach my child the different between right and wrong. They’re doing great things with kids during summer(field trip, BBQ, pool etc….),I really appreciate it what you are doing….”

913 23rd St S, Arlington“Our 22-month-old son attended daycare at Busy Bee for over six months and loved it! Every day he was excited to go to school, and he never wanted to leave. Everyone on the staff is friendly, caring, and professional. It was truly a pleasure to be part of this community, I cannot recommend it enough!”
“The Goddard School in Silver Spring is a phenomenal school and community of teachers, students and families. My child has been at this school since he was six weeks old and he will be graduating from the kindergarten program this spring! I can do nothing but brag about how amazing this school is. I have made little books from all of the pictures I received through their parent app called tadpoles for each of the classes he has been in. As a parent I am blown away how it helped my five year old reach amazing educational heights as he is now a star reader on the first grade level, and in the 99th percentile in math for his age. The teachers here honestly care for your child, they strive for each of their students to glow and grow in each developmental stage. The administration here strive for excellence and really provide warmth, love and support as much as they can for everyone that attends this school. They are good, honest people whose goal is to provide a safe, warm and caring environment for every single child that attends and every prospective family that will ever walk through the doors. I tell my child that I would never let them go somewhere I do not think they would be safe or have fun. And I KNOW my child is all of those things when they are at the Goddard School in Silver Spring. From the daily reports to the daily interactions with teachers I would recommend this school to anyone looking for their child to thrive in a learning environment.”

2701 Cameron Mills Rd, Alexandria“I can't say enough good things about Westminster Weekday Preschool. My daughter attended last year and is registered for next year too, and I am an elementary teacher myself. The teachers and administration are so caring and patient, and they helped my daughter when she had a difficult time adjusting. She loves her teachers and her friends. The rates are very reasonable, especially considering the amount of activities and programming WWP offers. The Conscious Discipline approach is a respectful way of teaching children expectations and boundaries while empathizing with their feelings and teaching them to advocate for themselves. We are lucky to be part of the WWP community!”

8003 Laurel Lakes Ct, Laurel“My 5 month old son has been attending Celebree since this January. The facility is clean and the staff are very friendly. I have to also shout out my son's teacher Damariea! I really appreciate the pictures she uploads throughout the day of my son on the Celebree app. I also appreciate that Celebree has a curriculum for the babies and they make sure that they work on milestones. My son seems to be doing better with tummy time and sitting up with support which is fun to watch!”

2472 Mandeville Ln, Alexandria“Our son has attended the Eisenhower East KinderCare since it opened in 2023. He has graduated from the Infant class, to the Toddler class, and is currently in the Discovery Preschool class for 2 year-olds. Since my husband and I both work, we have entrusted the center with our son's well-being and education/play throughout the day. Whenever we arrive, the Center Director always greets us by name and takes the time to check-in on how we are doing. The KinderCare app is a blessing, that allows for easy communication and to see the updates and pictures throughout the date. Our son's speech therapist is able to have his sessions at daycare, and work with the staff to implement the techniques to meet his individual development plan, while fostering an environment that benefits his whole classroom. We have had a great experience as first-time parents, partnering with this center as our son continues to grow and hit new milestones.”

The teachers' genuine kindness and warmth embraced our son from the start, creating a safe and loving environment where he has thrived. The seamless updates through Brightwheel have kept us connected throughout the day, providing real-time insights into his activities and milestones. Overall, our journey with University for Kids has been positive, thanks to the dedicated team's professionalism, care, and unwavering commitment to our son's happiness and development. We're grateful for the impact they've had.”

1325 Maryland Ave NE, Washington“NES has been such a wonderful school experience for our 3 year old. The teachers are professional, dedicated, and caring. The school communicates with parents constantly to provide updates and action photos during the day. Our son comes home every day and tells us of the wonderful activities he does, which we feel is paying huge dividends as far as his vocabulary and general development.”
7:30AM - 6PM
2101 L St NW Suite 104, Washington“We love the staff at L street. They made us feel so welcome and our son has so much fun there. We also love getting updates on how his day is going given he’s just 18 months and doesn’t say much :). We appreciate how accessible the staff is and always feel we can be open with them about any concerns with our son. They also have a great outdoor space. Would definitely recommend.”
“During the covid lockdown we lost access to our daycare and were scrambling to find a daycare that was open. A friend recommended curious critters and while we would have taken any port in that storm we have been very happy with the care our son has received here and continued sending him there even once things began to open up. My son genuinely loves his teachers and talks about them all the time at home. He is learning quite a bit and every day comes home with new vocabulary. And I really love that the staff here encourage development across the board, from eating with proper utensils to potty training, and they are happy to work with parents to help the kids succeed. On top of everything we can tell a ton of planning goes into their days there. Every week has a theme that carries over from the books they read and the projects they do to the food that is served for breakfast and lunch.”
“After searching for a good daycare to send our daughter to that will fit our schedule after the pandemic, we finally picked Tabernacle Learning Center (TLC). Oh yes, we read the reviews and for a moment we nearly crossed them out but decided to try them by ourselves and we are glad we did. Our daughter graduated in June this year and she is in kindergarten now. TLC is a Christian daycare. They teach the children about God. My daughter was able to pray and sing beautiful Christian songs by the time she graduated. Her teachers were phenomenal. Ms Mona, Ms Remi, Ms Tehillah and Ms Bridget were her favorites. She still cries to go and visit. TLC really prepared our daughter for kindergarten and she was able to read simple books by herself. Currently she is doing exceptionally well and her kindergarten teacher loves her too. You will not regret entrusting the care of your child to TLC”

3514 Plyers Mill Rd, Kensington“We’ve been part of the SBMA community for 4 years and we have just loved the school so much. All the teachers are so kind and caring about our kids. You see their eyes light up when they share whatever new skill they have learned. Montessori learning has made my kids so independent and develop language that prepares them so well to enter elementary school. Diann, the Director of SBMA, has done such a terrific job especially during COVID. We were so nervous sending our kiddo back to school but she put in place a lot of safety protocols and communicated regularly with parents. I appreciated that so much. She has also worked to implement tools to help communicate with parents about the kid’s day. The community aspect of the school is something unique to SBMA that I value so much. The school really tries to connect all the parents together and foster relationships outside of the school. They are relationships I will take with me long after we leave SBMA.”

11740 Beltsville Dr, Beltsville“I have my three children in the center, two of them go to school and my son has been in since he was a baby, asking God to take care of him so that I don't go to the wrong place. He arrived in the hands of a super sweet and charming teacher who, thank God, is in her third classroom. They are so kind and affectionate that my son loves Mrs. Angel, always available when help is needed. Very good director. Thank you very much KinderCare for all the good things. ??”
“What a great, unique, and FUN experience!
So, I found this gem on good ole Tik-Tok and I must say, it was E-VER-ry-THING that each reviewer mentioned! Capitol City Circus School’s Flying Trapeze two hour course IS a must try!
If you are seeking a memorable experience, this is indeed it. And the gag is, it is only $80 to determine if you missed out on YOUR calling of being a member of UniverSoul Circus! I kid lol.
This experience is located in a huge tent (captured in this post) with skilled, friendly staff. Upon entry, you are greeted, checked in, and “buckled in” for the experience. After the majority of class has arrived by the committed time, there is brief “hanging” test to determine whether you can hold your body weight along with some explanations of what is in store for you for the upcoming session. Once everyone understands and is ready, it is on to “practice what we learned/tried” while we were firmly on the ground.
Each member took the time to thoroughly explain the steps and provide guidance for improvement.
I would definitely encourage everyone to try this class with Capitol City Circus School.”
