Absolutely thankful for their continued and consistently high-quality services. The owner, Dr. Norris, has profound knowledge on all subjects pertaining to alternative medicine, as well as all services offered at TMC.I have partaken in both the SOMA Meditation Teacher Training, as well as the Yoga Alliance 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training programs.As much as I am looking forward to in-person sessions again, I am privileged to participate in various classes, courses and workshops, via Zoom.

The Mindfulness Center has improved my outlook on life. I had no idea that I would be able to separate myself from thoughts that weren’t helpful to me by taking several deep breaths. Then I make the choice about how much attention I will pay to the thought. It’s a choice I can make. It’s also helpful when I have procedures like taking staples from my head. The last five years of my life have been full of joy from this practice.

The Mindfulness Center has a wonderful array of yoga, meditation, tai chi and chi gong classes - to fit every level - plus many personalized services we can tap into. It is a terrific partner in a wellness or healing journey.

I have been attending classes offered by The Mindfulness Center for several years now. In the beginning, I used to fit the classes in, as I could, in my full-time work schedule. Now I fit work in around my center classes! All classes and instructors have been wonderful but John King, the teacher of a twice weekly Meditation class I attend, is particularly spectacular. He mixes his approaches up and I feel I am getting stronger in my meditation techniques with each passing session. The other class participants are really fun and loving. We have formed quite a bond and sincerely enjoy each other's company. Thank you, Mindfulness Center, for helping me to find and keep my balance during these trying, ever changing times.

Mindfulness center is an excellent institution offering a variety of yoga, tai- chi and related classes. I have been using the center for years and have benefitted greatly from it.

I was searching for a place online that offers Yoga Nidra and The Mindfulness Center was one of the few that I found. The location of the building is not difficult to find, but once you enter the building, make sure to go upstairs, not downstairs. You can't miss it once you begin heading upstairs. I paid $20 for a drop-in fee, and the class was fantastic! The instructor is experienced, especially in Yoga Nidra, and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. They have plenty of blankets and bolsters to make your session comfortable. The studio is beautiful with large, glass windows allowing natural light into the studio. I intend on taking this class in the future, and looking into their other offerings, too! *Note: my visit was Pre-COVID-19 (January I think).

I went to this center while pregnant, it changed my whole life. I really wish we hadn't moved away, you are so lucky to live close enough to be a part of this amazing healing center.

2 years ago I began a journey to heal myself from a TBI. After my entire medical team told me to mediate as much and as often as possible for best results I started looking into the science to understand. This lead me to TMC SOMA teacher training. Because it was self paves my doctors approved of me taking the course. It not only radically changed my life and the way see out power within but gave me the tools to help others on their healing journeys. Thank you for all that you do

I just went to Deborah Norris' meditation weekend. As usual, it was relaxing and informative, and helped me move toward incorporating meditation in my personal life and my psychology practice on a regular basis. Debbie is an excellent teacher and a beautiful person who has created a special meditation program for people in this area and everywhere, through the online program.

For more than 30 years, Dr. William John Alloway has continued to provide for all my family's chiropractic care. My recent visit was worth the drive across DC in rush hour traffic for the instant relieve I received. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.

I have taken many yoga and meditation classes over the years and the Mindfulness Center has the best instruction by far. Maria Garcia-Borreguero is such an incredible yoga teacher. She explains and demonstrates each pose in such a powerful way, helping you understand how to position your body and also challenging you. She's definitely my favorite yoga teacher ever!
