“The Blue House has been a Bethesda staple for cool gift items for 30 years! The store moved from its original location further down Woodmont Ave. several years ago.
Once you walk into The Blue House, you will be enchanted by all of the local and region-themed gifts available ranging from decorative pillows to unique cookbooks, candles and other decorative items.
There is something for everyone in this quaint gift shop. Their children’s section is well-stocked with various toys, books and trinkets.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Parking can be a little limited depending on when you go. There is street parking and a public parking garage nearby.”

“This Swarovski was moved from the former larger location at the corner to its current single shop in late 2023. We came to exchange an online order that was damaged over the delivery. We had checked that product being in stock before going. Received warm welcome by two staff. They recorded our phone number and swapped the boxes to complete the exchange. We were able to walk out in five minutes.”
“The lady that helped me yesterday was great I had her piece both my sons and my daughters ears. I tried to call the store this morning to find out what we can do because one of my daughters earrings already fell out when she was sleeping I have never had that happen before and can't get ahold of anyone in the store. I think the price we are paying the earrings as piercing earrings should not just come out.”
