the name says it all: Fitness generation creates and supports a healthy, strong, mentally alert and physically active cohort of aging adults. Particularly important for those of us females who did not benefit from early life participation in sports, Megan’s personally tailored sessions address skill gaps and focus on strength building for posture and balance. I’m my case, she addressed shoulder and back issues that led me to abandon piano as a teenager; I am playing again now. I am very fortunate to work with her!

A family affair!My husband started working with Ken after physical therapy for back pain. A short time later I nervously allowed Ken to help me return to exercising after a broken arm and injured shoulder. Gradually he pushed me to use the injured arm and before long I was able to return to the tennis court and, remarkably, was eventually able to use the injured limb to do a one arm row!When Covid hit, we hardly missed a beat, working out via Zoom. I even worked out in a park with Megan and enlisted my brother in partner sessions.Sessions are never boring or cookie cutter but are individualized; Megan inquires about my energy level and any pain or soreness and off we go. Especially with two weekly sessions, there’s time to work on balance, strength, flexibility and even engage the brain! Fitness Generation is a top notch gym! I've been working out with Megan for 3 years and she is everything anyone could want in a trainer. She has helped me with my main goal -- getting in better shape for tennis -- and tailors my workouts to strengthening my core, quads, and upper arm muscles, among other areas. She's a great listener and can always adjust my workouts to particular areas that need fine-tuning. I've had a variety of trainers but she is by far the best in targeting the training to my specific goals. Don't know what I'd do without her!

Megan is the best trainer. She has helped me through training for marathons, numerous injuries related to running. She has worked with my orthopedist and physical therapy to get me back running and we have worked on preventive care to stay injury free. She has taken the time to build me back to whole. Amazing patience, knowledge on the human body physically and mentally.

I am an 81 year old man who has been working with Megan for about 6 years at Fitness Generation and the results have been remarkable: I am stronger, more flexible, and much more stable walking and exercising than I was 6 years ago. Best investment I have ever made!

Can't say enough good things about this gym and trainer Megan. She blends her incredible knowledge about everything to do with the human body and how it does or doesn't move with her compassion and humor. She is a skilled communicator and is always supportive and helpful. Gym is always clean and tidy and very well equipped. And Megan makes working out fun!

When it comes to fitness exercises ,i was always reluctant until I joined Fitness Generation . Exercising became a pleasure for me because the trainers ( Megan ,in my case) were so motivating . Now I never miss a session because Megan has a very special approach while training. She is always correcting my moves. She focusses on my posture for better results. During covid period ,she never let me down. She encouraged me to join zoom to keep working . Now whenever I am unable to drive to the studio we meet on zoom and she guides me again . Thank you Megan and Fitness Generation .

I have worked with multiple trainers over the years. Megan is special, an expert in working with older adults who somehow convinces me to enjoy pushing myself a little more each time. I've had good sessions by Zoom but the studio facilities make it even better!

Fitness Generation is a great gym and great for personal training. I can't recommend it highly enough. It is small, friendly, very well-equipped, with a real sense of community, thanks to the spirit, expertise, knowledge, and philosophy of co-owners Megan McCoy and Ken Yazge I've trained with Megan for several years, having followed her from the WSC to Fitness Generation. She has got to be one of the best trainers around. She's uniquely skilled--she's incredibly knowledgeable and professional; she up-to-date on the latest approaches and in working with clients to get stronger, and more fit and healthy. (She and Ken build their practice around a holistic approach to functional aging--the living of vital, active lives.) Megan always focuses on the client's needs. She prepares individualized routines, and she's both motivating and supportive while giving regular tips on position, stance, form, etc.... Megan's knowledge is amazingly broad. She can answer seemingly any question about physiology, musculature, exercise strategy--you name it. She is also fun to work with. She's upbeat, creative, and energizing, and endlessly fun to talk to. She gets my highest recommendation.

Fantastic gym and personal training. I was a college athlete (track) and still competitive but for recreation, and always figured I had nothing to gain from personal training. After just one session with Megan, she got me up to speed on the most current practices and technology for running, and helped me to learn new skills to balance out my body from many years of running, to be stronger and stay injury-free. Her knowledge of the musculature of the body is on point and she explains it so simply so you leave with a whole new understanding of your own body. Continuing my sessions with her, she is helping me to step up my game, to reach my marathon goals, and continue to grow stronger and fitter even as I get older. Working with her, you will reach your fitness goals too and live a life of vitality.

I can't say enough great things about Fitness Generation. I had been working out with Megan for about 2.5 years at her previous gym, then followed her to Fitness Generation. She has me lifting weights I never thought possible, as well as doing things I never thought I could do, including running a half marathon. She is motivating, energetic, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. The gym is in the Woodmont Triangle area, and I could easily walk there. I can't rave enough about Fitness Generation and my experience there!
