“My family had been taking dogs and cats to this vet my entire life, although all of our original vets have retired I still am getting exceptional service for my current animals and am planning on continuing to go back for any future pets as well! It’s always a clean, comfortable and friendly environment. They handle the saddest of appointments with empathy and make your pet feel as
comfortable as it can be. I definitely recommend this vet, it can be a bit pricey in some departments but its worth it for the level of care and comfort my pets have gotten here vs any other vet!”

“All of the staff we have had interaction with are all great. Dr. Zacuto really takes the time to listen and understand what is going on with our kitty as well as explain what is happening with him and what direction we need to move in. She has gotten our cat's asthma well controlled and is working with us on another issue that he is having. I feel very confident with the care our kitty receives and would recommend this office highly.”
“Look, here’s the deal! I moved here from DC in 2002. It took me months to feel like the first home WE bought was actually ours!
Took time to also get used to the different culture and lifestyle. We were not “boaters.”
The biggest surprise of all though was how much the town truly is, “A Dogs’ Town!”
Being a dog person it only made sense that I might have moved to the right place!
Bay Ridge Animal Hospital has made tough decisions that have either “helped us make THOSE difficult decisions” or have kept so many of our dogs ALIVE.
They are not perfect! No one is! But they give a damn and their expertise shows it!
Have faith, be kind and believe - this IS the first place I go to for my pet needs. It’s not cheap, but anything that is worth it when it comes to your family members, you GET UP. Thank you after all of these years and about 8 animals!”

“Dr. Hamilton (and my breeder) saved my dog who was born with a clef palette, so I always bring this dog to see her when there is a problem. She and her staff are always professional, accommodating and spot-on with their diagnoses, care and treatment. It's not always what we want to hear, but it is what we need to hear, and Dr. Hamilton is very good at identifying options.”

“The team at ADC is fantastic. While we didn't go in for a happy reason (advanced oral cancer consult), the team was kind and compassionate from making the appointment through the day of. They provided information and guidance, and were truly so thoughtful and sweet to both the pet and the parent in the face of a sad prognosis. They were extra considerate of the fact that we had a 1.5 hour drive. So grateful for their professional guidance and caring nature.”

“Great practice super nice and attentive! But if you’re looking for something affordable this is not the place no doubt that they are the best , unfortunately we couldn’t afford to get our dog into surgery for his eye was way to much they were asking 1500 and we just couldn’t afford for that reason I give 4 stars I do recommend this place as they were super helpful on comforting our dog who was in pain .”
“If you need to groom your labradoodle, Petco did a great job! I asked for a "summer cut" and was very pleased. Plus, they groomed him in TWO hours. Unheard for these spots. Very happy, my pup seemed happy too!”
“My Yorkie has been on the preferred care plan for almost 9 years now. Spreading out the cost for her care has been more manageable with the plan. The staff at reception are very helpful in making appointments especially if there is an emergency. I have seen all the veterinarians at this location and feel the quality of care is high. When my family has had to use their euthanasia service for our 3 elder cats dying of kidney failure, the doctors and staff are very kind and comforting.”
