Oil Change in Windham, ME

“I appreciate VIP getting me in as quickly as they did. They were very good about communicating with me thru the process about what was going on, what the problem might be, and what the high and low end of the price might be. I also appreciated that they used texting since i dropped it off in the morning and was at work all day so it was much easier to reply to texts than continue to take calls. Always appreciate the AAA discount from VIP. My check engine light was on when i picked it up and they took care of that for me quickly and without charging me. While it is usually less expensive to go to an independent shop this was an emergency and I am very satisfied with the service I received.”

“Went to Prompto this morning to get an oil change. Within 30 seconds of pulling in they had broken a bolt while removing a plate to drain the oil. They were unable to repair the broken bolt and tried to blame it on the shop that did the previous oil change. Told me that I would have to go to another garage to have the bolt repaired on my own. My truck is only a few years old and in good condition, no reason that this should have occurred. Would not recommend this business to anyone. They should take responsibility for parts that they break and shouldn't be touching parts on a customer's vehicle if they are not able to complete any repairs that may be needed. Very unprofessional.UPDATE: Got a call from the regional supervisor about this incident. He was very apologetic and agree that the situation was not handled correctly. He met me at Prompto this morning, replaced the broken bolt and completed the oil change.Service: Oil change”
