“I've been here a few times to get my car washed and I'm pretty pleased with this place. The workers are extra friendly, which is nice, and the car wash is very good. I do wish it were less expensive (and I wish they had Apple Pay - not yet) but... I guess that's how it goes nowadays.Today I needed an under car wash so I had to splurge for the $22 wash. I think it skipped the tire shine, which kind of surprised me but... I didn't find that out until the end. But then I wasn't really paying that close attention because we were having a good time talking about my Maine Tourist license plate on the front (the workers and I). (My car is registered in North Carolina so doesn't need a front plate and I can have fun with it). Anyway .. pleased with the wash and I'll come back .. (since this is in my daughters town).”

“This is the BEST place to get your car washed. Today, I brought in my "filthmobile" and the owner himself worked on it for a LONG time before sending the car through the automated wash. Not only will my car never get that filthy again, it will be mostly gleaming because, having now found Jiffy Car Wash & Detail Center, I will be going there much more often. “A lot of good things about this place and no bad ones. First they do not reuse the water like almost every other one does. They only use premium soap and waxes (I checked). Also they do a lot of prep work as well. I used to run a car wash so I know a good one and this is it! !! And finally, the real test of a business is how a problem is handled. I had a problem and am very pleased with the outcome. Incidentally their prices are more than reasonable.”

I do wish the wash did a better job of cleaning the wheel wells. I would’ve preferred to use the self serve wash vs. the result I got from the drive through machine.”

“I have to go to the Car wash anywhere between 1 to 4 times or 5 times a day for a company, And every time I've ever gone through everybody including the inside clerks, have been absolutely awesome almost family like. 1person in particular that seems to always stick out and go above and beyond not only for your customers but for your company.South Portland store and his name is Matt g... Some people look at jobs as a pyramid. I do not I see a job as a job i deea job as how well you do it .Matt g does a fantastic job and everybody's customer service their is an easy 10 ? “This car wash is a gem ! For years I have used the Daigle Oil Company carwash in Madawaska and Never, not once was I satisfied with the end results. I don't know if you have more water pressure than DOC'S but your car wash is as close to hand washing as it gets ! Very impressed and plan to utilize it each time I'm in your area. “Ed’s was recommended to me by my mechanic for rust repair. They replaced my rocker panels on both sides and did a perfect job for an incredibly fair price and in a day and a half! Ed and his son are not only knowledgeable but are extremely nice people as well so I was happy for the opportunity to support their business. They even washed my car, polished my headlights and shined my tires for free! I love these guys and would absolutely use them in the future.”

“I was told about the "fancy light show," but let me assure you, there is no fancy light show whatsoever. Just some flashing red, green, and blue. I felt like I was getting pulled over by the police at Christmastime in a foamy storm. Find your light show somewhere else, people. Thankfully, they don't actually advertise a fancy light show. The wash itself was serviceable.”

“This gas station has the best automatic car wash in the greater Portland area. I used to go to Scrub-a-Dub but my car always had more scratches on it after being washed there. Ever since I started washing it here, there have been no additional scratches on it. It also seems to do a better job than the one at Irving (Cash Corner) or the one on Broadway across from the bowling alley, which is super fancy but always leaves parts of the car dirty and applies way too much wax. The simple, unassuming car wash at Big Apple cleans thoroughly, doesn't scratch, and doesn't over-apply wax. What more could you want?”

“My sister uses this place a lot and I've come to use it myself also. It is an automated car wash with no person directly on hand.Simple enough to use and has three options for cleaning.It is set on a busy intersection which can be a bit of a pain depending on which way you are going after you are done.However, the traffic does move fast enough so you should not have a huge issue with it.It is near a lot of other places which helps when you are in a rush and need to grab a quick rinse between errands.They have a cloth vending machine there for those that want to get that extra dry on their car but don't bring their own cloth. The wieners office seems to be directly behind the car wash so if you have an issue you can go right over and have it addressed.The whole process is videotaped so there should be a record of something happening if it happens.All in all, it is a decent cost-effective option for a car wash if you are in the area and want to try some fully automated.”
