“first time going to this place, thought I needed to get a repair on the A/C. they ended up looking it over and recharging it and just from the first time going here from the professionalism and how fast and respectful they were, we will not be bringing our vehicles anywhere else. could not recommend these guys enough. thank you black bear auto, you guys are awesome! 5 stars all around!”

“This place was placed in our path by our guardian angel. Coming from out of state we couldn’t find a place to help us replace the tire. Every place we called or went to, turned us down. Our tire was destroyed and we didn’t have the appropriate tools to change it ourselves. We stop by Wheels and Deals Auto Repair in Maine. They didn't have our tire size in the moment but they were able change our tire with the replacement we had. I definitely recommend if you are passing by Maine or if you live in the area to visit them.”

Caitlyn said "bring it" she spent a week doing paint correction and then a 2 year ceramic coating as well as an interior cleaning. The car looks better than new! Her attention to detail and knowledge is top tier not to mention her pricing! Look no further for your detail needs!”

“Just got my car inspected here. I just moved up to Maine from Mass in march and I have been warned by many people that mechanic shops in the Portland area are no good (either bad work or price gouging). This shop is the real deal, a rare gem. The owners are so kind and very professional. I had to wait for my car despite having scheduled the inspection with the understanding I would be dropping off the car…..and even thou I didn’t ask to have my car inspected faster, they accommodated me to be first car in and out because they had some wiggle room.
I just have to say that this shop is so clean and so professional. I would come back to them for any work I need and would highly recommend to anyone else in the area. They even pointed out some concerns without being pushy about getting work done immediately. Made my day to have such a pleasant stop first thing in the morning. Bonnie reminds me of my grandma and I didn’t wanna disappoint her by being late to my appointment, I could tell she is a very non nonsense kind of lady, while also having such a kind smile and mannerism…..just can’t say enough nice stuff about the shop and it’s owners.
And on the topic of the wait time for an appointment…..good things are worth the wait. I imagine the wait is due to the number of customers who are booking with them, they are in high demand and it’s for a reason. Getting work done on your car shouldn’t be rushed, so a shop that has the availability to take you right away, isn’t always a good thing. I don’t believe this shop deserves bad reviews due to the wait time, they can’t help if they have a full schedule. I rather they be honest about the wait time and get the work done right than them taking my car and it’s weeks or months before I see the car again because of bad scheduling.”
“Went to Prompto this morning to get an oil change. Within 30 seconds of pulling in they had broken a bolt while removing a plate to drain the oil. They were unable to repair the broken bolt and tried to blame it on the shop that did the previous oil change. Told me that I would have to go to another garage to have the bolt repaired on my own. My truck is only a few years old and in good condition, no reason that this should have occurred. Would not recommend this business to anyone. They should take responsibility for parts that they break and shouldn't be touching parts on a customer's vehicle if they are not able to complete any repairs that may be needed. Very unprofessional.UPDATE: Got a call from the regional supervisor about this incident. He was very apologetic and agree that the situation was not handled correctly. He met me at Prompto this morning, replaced the broken bolt and completed the oil change.Service: Oil change”

“They do what they say they are going to. They aren’t the cheapest but they do top shelf work. You get what you pay for in this case. Professionals that do things properly. Grateful I have had them work on my F350. Replaced cracked heads and replaced the flex plate. Two big jobs I just wasn’t up for myself. Very happy with end result. “Experience is five star. They don’t try to pressure you when buying a car, don’t hover over you when looking it over. I was in and out with a new used car in about an hour. All I had to have was my bank statement, my insurance stuff, my last pay stub and my $1500 down payment. I had to bring it back for an issue I was having and they fixed it no questions asked.
I mentioned while I was there how outrageous the prices to get your car detailed are and they even do that. I wanted to get my other car detailed , they offered it to me at half the cost of most, I think I paid $259 and my car looks like brand new.
We started taking both of our vehicles there and will continue. We get our regular maintenance done there and my son had already bought a part to put in our car and never did it, so I called and asked if we could bring the part and have them put it in, the lady says “of course, no problem “. I was shocked!
Super friendly, very prompt at returning calls and answering the phone. I highly highly recommend this business!”

“Mitch and team did a great job on some major repairs on my Ford Super Duty recently. All systems worked great when done including all the lights, locks and other stuff controlled by the Body Control Module. This required prgramming the new module to work with my truck and existing keys.”

Car was ready when estimated and I just drove rental car to Sebago Lake Collision and they arranged return. Car looked like new, and overall, service could not have been better. Highly recommend.”
