“Needed a new bolt for a brake issue we had to get us back on the road safely for a 12 hour drive home. Our hotel was just a bit down the road and I saw their high rating and good reviews and decided to pop in first thing in the morning. I showed up, they took a quick look, found the size bolt we needed, installed it, and I was in and out in no time. The mechanic Christian was very helpful and checked some other bolts to make sure they weren't loose as well (and some were) and tightened those up too. I'd be happy to have them as my go-to shop if it weren't half a day's drive away.”

“Vinnie is one of best overall, most professional, and reputable mechanics I have ever had work on my vehicles, and I have worked with dozens. He in fact may be the top one.
A month ago I had a nearby mechanic diagnose and give a repair estimate for a engine compartment burnt oil smoke smell in my Toyota. I was told that the timing cover gasket was leaking, would need to be replaced by taking the engine out, and would cost between $3000 to $3500. And I had to stop in 3 times to get the diagnosis.
I found Vinnies shop on line a week ago, looking for a second opinion. I dropped my car off with Vinnie on Monday. He diagnosed it in 3 hours and said that it could either be the timing cover gasket, or the oil feed tube associated with a solenoid and/or gasket (I am writing this from the description he gave me on my bill). He said the oil feed tube would be far less money than the roughly $3000 quote I was given elsewhere and would need to be looked at first. He also said that someone had been “monkeying” with the tube gaskets, had over torqued them, and partially stripped them. In addition any timing cover leak from that area would be covered up by the oil feed tube. This means that whether or not the tube gaskets were leaking, they would be replaced by a timing cover gasket replacement and if they had been leaking it could never have been found out.
I dropped my vehicle off with Vinnie on day two. At the end of the day I stopped by for the news. He said he had replaced the tube gaskets, the leak had fully stopped, and he charged me $285. So, I was not charged the other quote of $3000 to $3500, I didn’t have my Toyota in the shop for a week or more, driving around in an expensive rental, and the wrong- correctly -functioning item in the engine would not be replaced by taking the engine out (which likely would have caused some problems to crop up early later on since it is next to impossible to get an engine back to factory condition after being removed).
So to summarize, someone tried to pull a major, very expensive fast one on me, and Vinnie was my knight in shining-armor savior. Thank you Vinnie!!”

“Damian was really kind and did a great job. On Tuesday, I had a flat tire, and even though they didn't have time to put new types on my car that day, they made time to put the doughnut on and didn't charge.
I made an appointment for today, the following Saturday, for the tires as well as an oil change, and they got everything done, as well as a couple other things.
They asked our permission before performing any work other than what was discussed, and fished the work in great time.
Pricing was very fair, and the work they did was fantastic. We'll be back for routine maintenence in the future!”

“A battery icon was flashing on the dashboard of my friend's 2018 Honda HRV and we thought it was her car battery. Later she remembered seeing the word "key" flash just before the icon. She determined that it was the car key battery and we drove over to Berlin Honda to confirm her assessment, since she had just purchased a new car battery and thought that unless the battery was faulty, the issue was likely the key fob battery.We were greeted at the door by a salesperson who confirmed her "diagnosis." He first showed her how to pop open the key case, showed her the battery and mentioned that she could get it at a local store (like CVS) instead of what it might cost to have it done at Berlin Honda.Since we were on a road trip and wanted to get on our way, we opted for the Honda Parts center solution, so he directed us to the Parts counter.The rep kindly changed her battery and charged her nothing for the battery as well as the service.Awesome! I wish I had thought to get the names of both the sales person and the parts person as this is the kind of customer service over the long term that would result in a future purchase!I know this is a long post for a small act of kindness but we are incredibly grateful for being able to easily solve our problem so we could continue in our road trip without worrying about the flashing light.”
“Went in today to get my car inspected with my wife today and the employees that were working today I was completely shocked in the turn around from a yr and a half ago when I started there it was so clean as well as the restrictions the shop area the outside landscaping my wife was very impressed since that is what she does and is her trade and Zack as a store manager training his employees the correct way from a-z coey and Mike front a-z they were excellent well done to the store manager Zack for having such an outstanding crew I will rate that store as one of the best stores I know 3 of then and south portland has came a tremendous turn around and me and my wife Kelly who said after we left wow what a complete difference from a yr ago she was happy herself and so definitely was I I'll be back soon guys great work keep it up!!”
