“This was our first trip to New England when I booked in August I found most places couldn't accommodate us for 7 days. Royal Anchor Inn had a room with no balcony so I reserved it. When we arrived they were able to put us in ocean view room with balcony then 3 days later moved us to ocean front! I cannot say enough good things about the property and the owners and staff. The place was immaculate inside and out, the breakfast though continental had a wide selection including coffee all day. The tiki bar had live music 5 afternoons a week and drew a large fun crowd including locals. Nice heated pool plenty of comfortable outside seating including beach chairs at no charge on the private beach. This place is run right!Nearby activities: A mile from amusement park, restaurants and shopsSafety: Nice mix of rentals and residential neighborhood felt completely safeWalkability: Couple restaurants and a small market nearby. “Rented unit 201, on Airbnb and loved it! In the heart of it all! A bit noisy at night but once I fell asleep I wasn’t woken up. Loved being able to go to Palace Playland with the kids, and the beach, etc and having our room be just a few steps away. Balcony was great and I’d definitely stay here again!”

“Nice , Quiet. Clean, the woman and guy in the office was so nice and friendly. Very nice for a short stay, no smoking rooms. But your allowed to smoke outside on the balcony which is pretty cool. There is a tv the channels don't work much, but who needs to watch TV when palace Playland is on the corner, the beach is right outside, tons of food, and lots to shop. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the nice bar & grills in that area.”

“Thank you for a great weekend..the guy at the front desk is the best our fridge broke and within minutes we had a new room a small cabin that was just perfect. The trolley stops right in front of the motel. It's super close to everything. The pool was just the right size and very quiet.. and you can't beat the price. “A hotel with experience, it's safe, but perfectly located and offers very good value for money in relation to its location.The room was clean, equipped with all the comforts we needed for a summer stay. The swimming pool is very pleasant. Outside, there were barbecues and braziers available. The small adjoining restaurant is relatively cheap.It's a holiday hotel, so inevitably a little noise, but nothing to spoil the stay.Very satisfied, and we will definitely come back.Nearby activities: Beach in front”
