“I’m not one to leave reviews but I felt moved with my experience recently and compelled to leave this review for genuine good /in a positive way. I feel we all should stop and take the time to praise one another as it’s so dire in today’s world for more Godly light in humans, positivity and kindness to all.I wanted to leave a review for Phil, Perkins Road,Louisiana Nursey Associate who was more than exceptional. Not only did he stop to ask when passing if he could help in anyway, he was genuinely kind, a wonderful listener and taught me along the way about the plants we looked at for my urns. When I went plant shopping again (less than two weeks) for more to add in areas, he noticed me and stopped his work to come walk with me every step of the way just as he did the first time. To say the least his warm welcome, his genuine kindness, his gentleman gestures from pushing the cart , helping in picking each tree/plants up and loading it on the cart which I only intended to do myself, walking with me, get protective paper for my car to loading my SUV and making sure they were carefully placed and secure would make one stop and take in such extended efforts and care as this isn’t common any longer today. It was to say the least a breath of fresh air.Yes, it may be someone’s job but when there is selflessness and one genuinely moving/acting with their heart is what makes Phil a shining light that was so brightly obvious in today’s dark world. What a gem you have Louisiana Nursery!! May this review be read by the owners and may you Phil who does this everyday to everyone/stranger you encounter, when no one is watching, be recognized significantly for your selfless character and being such an exceptional gentleman and asset to this company. “I LOVE this store. There's always cool stuff here. They have the best selection of nice outdoor furniture and a healthy selection of high-end BBQ pits!If you have to get a gift for someone and have no idea what to get or where to start, go here! They stock a lot of items by local artists like hand painted glassware and a big selection of funky LSU/Saints paraphernalia. They have everything you need for crawfish boils, tailgating parties, they have entire outdoor kitchens, cool kitchen gadgets, bird feeders, windchimes, other patio decor stuff....Its also one of the only places I know of that will "refill" your propane tank, meaning, top it off, instead of swapping it out. You know how sometimes you have like a third of a tank of propane and you don't want to risk it going empty on you when you're in the middle of bbq-ing, but you don't want to swap out a tank thats a third full..... Well, for like half the price you can top off your tank.They also offer assembly and delivery of BBQ pits. Its taken me like 6 hours to assemble a bbq pit in the past. I bought a bbq pit for my boyfriend once for his birthday and they delivered it fully assembled, it took them like 5 minutes to get it off the truck and up the driveway. My boyfriend was taking a nap at the time and slept right through it so when he woke up, BAM! Giant BBQ pit ready to go - like it just fell out of the sky. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about every product they sell.There's always someone that will ask if you need any help finding anything. Just come check this place out, you won't be disappointed.”

“I love shopping at JoAnn fabric and crafts! Even though I live 30 miles away, and have closer fabric and craft stores near me it’s worth the trip! They have plenty of deals and always stocked with all my fabric and craft needs! Would recommend to shop here to anyone who enjoys crafting or sewing! And artists they didn’t leave you out! They have tons of paints and accessories to choose from as well! And sales on canvas! Last sale was 20 canvas’ for $10 and I’m not talking about small ones either. I’m talking large and in charge! This business really knows how to impress and keep their customers. And a wonderful employee who I absolutely adore! She remembered me after my first visit and is super friendly and helpful! She is a morning shift employee who’s worked there for over 5 years and is just amazing! She works at the fabric cutting table and she’s always moving and working. She has tons of knowledge about different fabrics and has just really impressed me with her customer service skills! So 5 stars for the products and 5 stars for their wonderful employee! The only problem I have ever had was trying to get into a class there but that’s because there are so many people who sign up that the classes are booked and filled months in advance!”

“We have purchased four La-Z-Boy Lancer recliners over the years, so when my SIL broke her knee, we invited her over for what turned out to be the best rest she had since her fall. On Sunday we wheeled her into the Gallery where Joseph met us at the door. He steered us toward the Lancer recliners and explained the features of each. She tried several sizes and different features before she all but fell asleep in the one she bought.While she was buying, I was looking at the newest Lancer. Joseph gave me honest info about reupholstering my current chair vs purchasing a new one. My fifth recliner will be delivered tomorrow.Joseph’s patience and experience were greatly appreciated by all.”
