“I honestly prefer Metry Cab over Uber. I rarely have to wait more than 10/15 minutes when I call, and the drivers tend to be pretty friendly. Their drivers are also typically locals, so they're not entirely reliant on GPS to navigate. Fares are comparable to Uber without the surge pricing, etc.
I do wish they'd get an app for booking rides (as many other large cab companies have done), and the fleet could use some upgrades.
Tip: Be sure to ask the dispatcher to send a credit card equipped cab if you're not paying with cash.”
